I’m not interested

I just do and keep it pushing
:salute: that's all that matters. We are in the information age and too much information can be a bad thing. You get overwhelmed and disinterested, lose sight of the goal or interest in the objective. The main thing is to just keep going.

For anyone getting serious about rowing I would suggest creating an account at log.concept2.com It keeps track of all your rows and even tracks personal bests on all of the benchmark rows.

There are several apps you can use to connect to the rower and it automatically tracks your sessions at the above link. I mainly use the Ergdata app. There’s also Ergzone and Krew. I think Krew requires a subscription but the other 2 are free.

As of today I’ve rowed 2.4 million meters lifetime

These are my personal best

Million Meter Club

Fitness is its own reward for the hard work you put in, but we think you deserve a little something extra when you reach the milestone of one million meters on a Concept2 RowErg, BikeErg or SkiErg. The Concept2 Million Meter Club was started in 1987 to celebrate and reward everyone that reaches this huge milestone, and every million thereafter.
The journey to one million meters starts with just one meter. Everyone starts out in the same place. It may take three months or three years to reach that first milestone but we’ll celebrate your achievement no matter how long it takes.

How it Works

  1. Set up a Concept2 Online Logbook. The online logbook is a free, easy way to track your meters, and more.
  2. Record all your meters on the Concept2 RowErg, BikeErg, or SkiErg. We recommend using our free ErgData app to record your workouts, as this will upload all your meters to your online logbook automatically. Note: Your meters from different pieces of Concept2 equipment are not combined, and there are separate clubs for each erg.
  3. When you reach your million meter milestone (1 million, 5 million, 10 million etc.) for any given type of Concept2 equipment, go into your online logbook account, click Challenges, and visit the Million Meter Club area. A section will appear for each ergometer type that you use.
  4. Follow the instructions to print an achievement certificate (worldwide) and request free rewards where eligible or purchase additional prizes.

Million Meter Club Prizes

Million Meter Club prizes are offered to club members in the following countries: US, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and Australia. If you’re not in one of these countries, please contact your local dealer for information about programs in your country.
Prizes are a combination of free commemorative items from Concept2 and optional items sold through a 3rd party online vendor.

Do I need a concept 2 rower for this? I have the hydrow but I can’t front… I haven’t used in a min… plan on getting into a routine and just start with 20-30 mins a day and work my way up to an hour of rowing

Not at all. Hydrow is one of the top. It's usually between concept 2 (because it's very basic and lasts forever, minimal computing, no subscriptions) then hydrow and ergatta (which are like coke and Pepsi)

Thread got me anticipating using my kayak this summer.
Funny you say that. My boy bought the Rowing machine strictly from watching House of Cards years ago. And then for whatever reason bought a kayak a few years later and just be out in random lakes/ponds in the KC metro kayaking.

I've never had the space for a rowing machine, or I likely would have bought one.

Hahaha. I went from paddle board to kayak then got a row machine last. I just enjoy the peacefulness of being in the water.
