Right, but what I mean is, people like to present the issues as Vince making all these unilateral decisions and everyone else being helpless to him. But this shows that isn't wholly the case. For example, Vince also signs off on everything New Day does, which by their own admission, are their own ideas that they take to him. Or even in this case, Vince could just as easily told Trips to piss off and put E in the Shield. So it's not like Vince can't be swayed or moved into better creative decisions.

Vince, as the guy who has final say, does shoulder most of the responsibility. I agree, definitely. I just think that sometimes it's easy to forget the company's problems creatively run deeper than just him.

The thing is with Vince, he will give certain talents some freedom, but you have to know when to get him at the right time, to get your ideas across and for him to properly consider them. (Jericho confirm this in an interview/on TIJ the other week) Someone like HHH knows when to and when not to pitch ideas to Vince. Also you have to take into account the bi-polar nature of Vince, who can change his mind at any moment, just like with the recent title changes of Neville and Sasha on Raw because he felt like it.

Creative is run by Steph, that's where the problem starts and majority of it ends with her also. She has scared off all the people who know how to write a wrestling TV show. Remember back in the day, creative was him and Pat, with input from Jack Lanza, Brother Love and a few others. And nowadays with Steph only answering to Vince he's not going to hamstring his own daughter. To get that direct line to Vince that a Heyman has(And we all know the love hate relationship that him and Vince have, but is ultimately built on respect) you got to prove yourself to him.

Big E being 5'10" isn't as big of a deal as him being black. Daniel Bryan is 5'9" and was champion. I know the circumstances aren't the same but smaller guys are becoming champion.

True, with Bryan it took a perfect storm though. He needed Punk to quit and for the crowd to hijack the show every damn week for McMahon to even put him in the match with Trips.

What I'm saying is it will take a perfect storm for us to have a black champion on RAW or with a combined roster. Something like how Rock had the mic skills, look and third generation status behind him.

I still think Kofi needs his main event run. Dude deserves it for all the work he's put in over the years. He's easily the best in-ring member of the New Day & more comfortable on the mic than before. Just let him come off as his cocky, Mr. 24/7 persona on UUDD & it'll be money.

Big E comes off mad awkward to me on the microphone. I could see Big E getting a run like Mark Henry down the line, but he doesn't come off as a guy who could carry the company & have a memorable run as champ.

Anyway, I think Ricochet will probably be the guy they end up pushing once he signs.

Thing with Roman is.... I feel like now more than ever, Vince wants to push guys who have "the look". Not just muscle guys but guys who look hollywood.

The Rock, Cena, Reigns. Even Orton. I dunno if they'd ever push a guy like Hogan or even Austin the same way anymore. They might reluctantly, like they did Bryan.

But I think they want cover model type of guys now.

edit: actually just thought of Eraser head Lesnar, scratch that

Only one on the current roster I see that could fill that role is Big E. He's got the size and charisma. Just have him tone down the goofiness a little. Not a huge amount but enough where he could be funny but still be taken serious like The Rock in the late 90's/early 2000's. You wouldn't even need to break up New Day. Big E goes for the world title, Kofi and Xavier in the tag division or go for singles championship.

I was big on Titus until that horrible promo he did on Raw when he was feuding with his former partner.

Honestly I thought Apollo was the one but they ruined everything about him

Apollo had nothing going for him in NXT, and that carried on with him to the main roster. Bro is a physical beast but he isn't worth paying attention to and never has been.

Imagine Heel Day with all the titles. Big E with the World, Kofi with the US/IC and Xavier with CW while being tag champs as well.

Nah, don't give a freebird team that many titles. The Shield didn't even do that. New Day protecting Big E or Kofi with the title would be great, though we're currently getting a less entertaining version of what that could be with the Singh Bros and Jinder. At most give them Tag and 1 solo strap.

Plus CW strap would require a move to Raw.

WWE can't book a black wrestler

Think about it , do you think Vince or a writer came up with the rocks gimmick :mjlol:

Vince is a rich old man it'll never happen unless a "cool" black guy was giving full control

Big E is a fakkit so don't bother with that

Philly. Fucc a Eagle. I mean dat.
I'm telling you all now and you can quote this post after Wrestlemania 35: it's going to be Jason Jordan. Has almost everything going for him. Physical beast, talent in the ring, age is definitely on his side And most importantly he has Vince on his side. You see how they been grooming him for that rocket fueled push these past couple weeks with ultra competitive matches with Cena and Roman. Yes dude is next. Just gotta show even a goddamn semblance of charisma tho, personality and the world is his.

Ehh.. he's mixed with black and cac tho. His voice is gonna hold him back. shyt is trash. His overly animated facials *pause* just scream lower mid-card comedy as well. I just don't see it with him at this point. WWE needs a true leading African American male in the same vein of a Mark Henry and Lashley.
