I've been holding off on buying tickets for this fight due to the inevitable, but I guess it's safe to drop my money now. I like RDA, but if he knocks off Pettis he'll move into my top 5. I don't hate anybody more in MMA than Anthony Pettis and I despise pretty much every big name that trains at Roufusport, so the opportunity to be there in person if he loses the belt is too much to pass up.

I think Pettis is going to win, because the guy is a monster and a horrible matchup for everybody in the division not named Khabib. But I'll be cheering for RDA with every ounce of breath in my body.

All the money I spent and all the time behind the wheel today were worth it. So glad I made the trip.

Seeing Pettis getting rag dolled and beaten like a drum while an arena full of his fans sat in silence and watched is a memory I'll cherish for the rest of my life.

God bless Rafael Dos Anjos:mjcry:

Got beat up everywhere the fight took place, on the feet, on the ground & in the clinch. Got thoroughly out-worked, it was a pretty one-sided fight. RDA did a great job of controlling the fight and pressuring Pettis. He put on a clinic.

Damn, I'm going to have to see this, all reports are using words like 'schooled' and 'embarrassed' I thought it was just the media hyping :mjcry:

RDA pressured him like others but never backed off. Relentless striking, TDs, top control. He also wasn't afraid of anything Pettis attempted to counter with. I'm just shocked that Pettis legit could do nothing. I kind of figured he would get pushed back away from the center of the cage early and be down a round or two. I at least expect him to get his rhythm/timing down and get a nice shot that would put RDA down but it never happened. Pettis just got thoroughly outclassed

I don't think Pettis will ever be the same again. Never. That beating was a lesson and nothing he did fell in place for him. He tried to be aggressive then he got countered. He sat back then got roughed up he got to the ground and got pounded. I felt like the fight was loooooong. Pettis did his best but RDA was just off the hook and was coming thorough with precise punching. It's like he studied Pettis rhythm and movement and got it down to the T. He anticipated every single thing Pettis tried to throw at him. Even the elbowShe were accurate. First time I see Pettis trading shots for a breath of fresh air. Dude gave up his body so he could breathe a little. That beating was what Goliath would have done to David if it got physical. :merchant:
