Just a complete replica of the Crucshaink/Darius fight. Don't give this taekwondo guys space to operate. LOL@Rogan saying Pettis had a flaw exposed. Everyone knows he can't deal with pressure and inside pressure. RDA is just more durable then Melendez, who almost got finished by Sanchez and one of those can japs he fought. Still surprised that Pettis couldn't get anything going

LOL@everyone knows...like that's all it takes. rda wasn't the first guy to pressure him. the difference is, when it comes down to it, he outstruck pettis. and when he wanted to, he took him down and controlled him. he wasn't getting caught in a submission.

beautiful fight by dos anjos. didn't that coming. i figured he'd be a challenging opponent to pettis, not the guy who destroys the king and take the crown.

I'm not saying he is. Everyone else who tried it panicks from a counter and gets caught. Melendez got hit and fell straight into that choke. Same with Benson and that armbar. RDA was having known of it. He wasn't scared of whatever Pettis did and that probably shocked Pettis. Pettis also had no space to truly land that clean counter. Thats what shocked me

Why? Pettis isn't some huge star. Hes probably happy that hes got a champ thats not injured every day. Hes probably happy hes got another Brazilian champ that he can put on the 100 cards they run down there yearly

Yeah, just getting home from the bar. Amazing performance by RDA to dominate Showtime and take the belt. I knew his striking had greatly improved, but didn't expect him to out-strike Pettis like he did, coupled with the nice mix of takedowns and GnP and he had a great strategy. Another thing that really impressed me was his chin. It wasn't like Pettis didn't tag him, he just took the strikes and walked through them.
