Just seen the fight, RDA showed no hespect to Pettis, you can't treat a champion like that, Showtime Gang will be back..................... :mjcry:
Ill never forget Pettis words at the end of the weigh in

"Just another guy I gotta knock out. Thanks everybody, this guy has NO CHANCE"

Clap for him. He's one of those dudes that you woulda expected to spend his career hanging around gatekeeper status gettin cracked by rising stars till he retires. The improvement he's shown is incredible, crazy for him to be in the title fight. Even crazier to win it.

My nikka showtime tho :wowie: This card was kinda a dud for me my favorite part of the night was vampire shawty. Need to catch up on her fights
yea his improvement IS impressive.....a little too impressive. I wanna see the blood test. :usure:

Hes just well coached. Look at what Cordeiro has done with Werdum, Lyoto, Dariush, Munhoz, etc. RDA has low key been destroying everyone outside Khabib, who basically lay n prayed in their fight

I wonder what he did during camp. Because during that countdown special you saw RDA training and rolling while Pettis was getting 20 haircuts per day

"Got to look good" :mjlol:

This shows outside of Ronda, nobody's title is safe
people were foolish to start placing labels on dude prematurely. This whole Pettis thing has been strange. He wasn't undefeated in the ufc but was being sold as an Anderson Silva. He hadn't even defended his title let alone cleaned his division and dana was thinking dream match with aldo. Dude has had a lot of time on the schnide and he's getting handed reebook, wheaties endorsements e.t.c. Why? because he's photogenic? Cuz i don't want to hear charismatic personality :heh: Its all been a cautionary tale in putting the cart before the horse. Dos anjos basically took the blueprint of Melendez strategy and fused it with his skills and ran with it. Have always said all that Showtime schtick is great but when in the trenches "what you got" the skinny is out now.

As for the card it seemed like a throwback, had a big event feel. Enjoyed the woman strawweight fight always a pleasure to see a grinding wrestling type get neutralized then stopped. Like I have said big rig has not been the same fighter post gsp fight, las night was just another step in the wrong direction. Happy for overeem even tho he is a piece of shyt ufc needs him winning in exciting ways. Didn't see anything else but the other female fight with Germaine and that was a joy, striking was crisp as fuk

All the money I spent and all the time behind the wheel today were worth it. So glad I made the trip.

Seeing Pettis getting rag dolled and beaten like a drum while an arena full of his fans sat in silence and watched is a memory I'll cherish for the rest of my life.

God bless Rafael Dos Anjos:mjcry:

:russ:

That's like when I saw A. Silva v Forest Griffin in Philly. Crowd was doing the :leon: :mindblown: and :sadbron:while the GOAT was putting in work.

It was worth the money I overpaid for the tickets
