uhhhh centuries of violence, misogyny, oppression of women as a sub species to be subservient vessels of children, and nothing else, it's disgusting, and is nothing to admire or inspire to. I personally know women in this, no they aren't being beaten or physically abused, but the oppression is evident. Do you know what happens do Iraqi women if they don't marry by like 35? There have been multiple honor killings here in Dallas. One dude killed his wife and two daughters because the daughters moved out and were celebrating Christmas. He found the wife there with them and killed all three and himself. One dude found out his daughter was dating a non-Muslim and hacked her to death.
