Crown the warriors and cavs and champs

Or just let them play a best of 7 after the regular season is over? :patrice:

Wouldn't mind that either. But still at least you have to beat a team 4/7 in the NBA offs, so the best team should still be able to prove itself. However, those damn injuries.

I actually like it... puts more importance on the regular season rather than the team that gets hot at the right time. I know I'd watch a ton more regular season NBA games if the NBA finals was determined by who finished first in each conference. It would also get rid of this shyt where you rest players for no goddamn reason

I can see both sides of this argument. I didnt think about the not having a championship game in a league until literally yesterday when Leicester City of the English Premier League won the title and were not even on the field to do it. While they are the champs of the league, it doesnt feel as special if you dont see the team celebrating on a field/ court somewhere together to show everyone the sacrifice of winning a season-long journey as a team, ESPECIALLY an underdog 5,000-1 team. To win a league while your team isnt even together just dont sit right. Gotta celebrate that with the team, champagne and all.

I'm pretty sure they showed Leicester having a party and celebrating. But I see what you're saying.
