300 murders a year
We have been getting beat on run outs all night.

Dudes need to get back

I am a little concerned that we don't have enough raw talent to make hoibergball successful.

Buts it's been a lot of experimenting with line ups and shuffling players so I won't worry much with pre season. That's a thibs thing to be pre season reg season champs.

And portis is a flat out steal.

I mean you really can't get upset because playing Doug/Crawford is asking to lose by double digits

LOL@Drummond. Thats why I laugh when ppl say the Pistons will make the playoffs. Meeks, Jackson, and Jennings will ensure that doesn't happen

feel free to chastise me but, I'm really not seeing much improvement in Butler's offensive game :patrice:

He's picking his spots slightly better as far as spacing is involved, but I don't see him making the jump to being some sort of 25 PPG scorer, nor do I see him averaging 6+ APG. :jbhmm:

Granted, if his midrange game is as reliable as it was last year, that's all he'll really need, but he needs the ability to take his man off the dribble FAR more consistently for me to believe in him as THE man offensively

I like reggie jackson and drummond of course. but I don't like meeks or jennings. plus losing monroe and gaining morris in the offseason does NOTHING to improve the team.

Butler looked good the first game, but since then hasnt backed up all this talk man

Transition defense is horrid, I mean HORRID
Also, we give up way too many open looks from 3

I guess these things are the reality of playing a fast paced offense. Hoiberg is going to have to limit minutes across the board to keep guys fresh and playing to max capacity when they are out there. Hes asking everyone on the court to move at 100% every second they are out there

Its preseason, so fukk, and we're playing lineups I dont expect to see but we need to get sharper FAST

Naw you had to let Monroe go. Him and and Monroe together was redundant and created spacing issues. Neither of them can score outside 6ft. But Drummond is younger and can protect the rim/play defense. Jackson is cool too. But hes making 14 per. Same as wall. And hes no where near the defender, facilitator, and penetrator Wall is. Plus you have Jennings and Meeks already. Thats a lot of PGs who take horrible shots/can't defend. Could have used that bread on someone like Carroll. I think they just lose a lot of games they should have won this year. A guy whos as limited offensively like Drummond needs the ball in good position and I don't see those PGs being able to facilitate that.

lets be reality. most players ain't getting to the 25ppg threshold. that's kinda reserved for your superstars of the league. butler is a star, but not a superstar, which is fine. cuz there's only a few superstars in the league to begin with. and when your leading scorer of the league last year put up around 28ppg, asking jimmy to go to 25ppg is asking a lot.
