Can the Warrior fan/s shut up about teams trying to stack up because of them? The fukk have you guys actually accomplished? Shut up and sit down and actually do something before talking this level of shyt. :camby:

The Rondo trade now turns into:

  • Crowder
  • Nelson
  • DAL conditional first-round pick in the 2015 draft
  • DAL second-rounder in 2016
  • $12.9 million trade exception, plus
  • MIN conditional first-round in either 2015/2016 or MIN 2016 & 2017 2nd rounders

So being real, it turns into:

Crowder
a Dallas 2016 first round pick that's top 7 protected
12.9 million trade exception they probably won't use as I don't see anyone trying to unload right now.
Min 2016 and 2017 2nd rounders(which can be seen as really late first round picks, I suppose, if they're still hot garbage then which they might not be).

I'm sorry brah, but I don't consider that very good. The picks are great and all, but you gotta make something happen with them and the draft is hardly ever a guarantee.

Their own tank game is strong though, so they ought to get some good players out this+the Nets picks are in fact gold. Again though, nothing is ever a guarantee with draft picks.

They have that exception til next December

They'd be stupid to use it now

They won't use it til after free agency at the earliest

It's not like we don't have some pieces on the roster though..
Sullinger,Bradley,Smart, and to an extent olynyk

The draft picks will come in handy with the expiring contracts in the coming years, I don't expect Ainge to be drafting that much, but we'll see..

:salute: To Jeff Green. A lot of Celtic fans didn't like him from the beginning and he was a scapegoat. Dude came back from Heart surgery and it took him a while to regain his strength and coordination. He's a good third-fourth option on a contender but fans expected him to be the next Piru P for the C's.

He has an opt out option this year and was probably a goner anyway. Dealer Danny getting more picks:smugdraper:. Hopefully some of those turn into quality players and not into future D-Leaguers. I'd like to see Brandon Bass traded to a contender also. He's a solid veteran that could add some hustle off the bench and knock down shots.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
Ainge is setting up the franchise for the future the right way. Pulled the trigger to get us a trophy to placate the fanbase, so down the road (now) the fans will live with a drought because the future is bright. Brought Stevens in to pretty much get assimilated to the pro level with raw talent in the future, and to do this the right way, he had to move the sentimental favorites (PP, KG, and Rondo) while also taking care of them by placing them on contenders, which maintains that he is a good guy amongst the players in the league and getting the word out that the organization is cool.
I'm not wild about tanking, but I have to place my trust in Ainge, he knows what's right for the org and will do what he has to do,

All they were missing was a wing scorer who can create his shot in any situation - the fit couldn't be better. :manny:
He's shooting 43% from the field in the eastern conference this year breh. 30% from 3, I wouldn't classify that as being a wing scorer that can create efficiently.

There's not a team in the league that can say they're just a Jeff Green away from a championship.

What does the shooting percentage have to with being in the Eastern conference?

He was asked to be the #1 option, that's why his percentages are what they are. He scored 19 ppg on 46% in the month of December. He's an efficient wing scorer that can create his shot, just not a guy that can lead a team night-in and night-out. He won't have to do that on the Grizzlies, that's what Gasol and Conley are there for. Star big man, star PG and star wing = recipe for being a contender. He's been one of the best players at getting to the FT line in the 4th quarter this season too.
