dont sleep on how ainge usually just deals his good players to the west. he wants the east to stay weak so the celts could find their way into the playoffs sooner than they otherwise would which would make fans happy and get the young guys experience. this is a part of the plan and since he has multiple picks in the draft, the celts pick would be out of the lottery if they did (unlikely this year)..but he could package them and move up or stay with what he has depending on the outlook of the draft and who he likes.

and also if you think green is a bum you dont really know basketball or havent seen him play enough. hes very smart, can score a variety of ways, is versatile, plays good d and hustles. hes also just a good guy. his so called "inefficiency" has come from the offense relying on him to bail them out on dead possessions. when its smooth he makes buckets and has also been pretty clutch when given the chance. hes also incredibly good going to the hoop and can finish above the rim...he can get past his guy into the lane and to the hoop almost at will at times. the constant knock is that hes not aggressive enough but thats not because he plays stupid, its because people recognize that ability to get to the hoop any time he wants and want him to do it more...but he plays within the offense and gets others involved and thats what a top notch team needs and is why he is a top flight 3rd option.

his stats wont be too overwhelming on a stacked grizzlies team but he is a huge upgrade over prince in all ways

He was a little in over his head with the C's. they was asking too much outta him. He needs to be a 3rd or 4th option. MEM is a good fit.

lol.

theres gonna be little-to-no trades on deadline day.

Finals could feature Memphis/Oakland vs. Atlanta/Toronto

Stern would never let that shyt happen. :to:

memphils is the only one of those with a serious shot at the finals.

oakland might can creep in with the right matchups, but i doubt it.

Playoff race could look different 2/3 months from now.

You nikkas keep saying we can't win it all because we haven't made a deep run in the playoffs. We haven't had a healthy starting 5 in the playoffs. If we did we may have been in the WCF twice in a row. It's not like we haven't gotten there because we wasn't good enough. We've been undermanned. No team in the league was beating the Clippers in 7 games without a big man.
When did I say ya'll can't win it all? And everybody is sick of the "Bogut wasn't playing excuse". That's why you should chill the f*ck out and let this sh*t play out on the court. What if Bogut is out during the post season yet again, then what? That's why I say chill and enjoy your teams play and hope you guys are healthy for the post season instead of all the "look at what we're making teams do" talk. Its just an arms race goin' on right now with everybody in the West (except for us:mjcry:). Its not all just because of the Warriors. Cause all this ain't gonna mean sh*t if you don't have a big man in the playoffs yet again.

I never said we'd win it all. I just said when healthy we have a better chance than any team in the league :yeshrug:
