:heh: At giving up damn near 2 decades of Gawdbe for a roster that hinges on a Injury Prone big man
You cats wasn't Laker fans for all that time. Half of you Laker fans on the Coli hitched your wagon after the last championship. And what's worse is the Raiders have a better chance of getting another ring than the Lakers do. Enjoy the bottom my friend, get nice and comfortable.

1st round draft picks Breakdown over 4 years

2015 (2)
1) Celtics have their own pick
2) Celtics have the Clippers' pick they received as compensation for letting Doc Rivers out of his contract.

Conditional
3) They would receive the 76ers' pick if Philadelphia makes the playoffs, but that's obviously not going to happen
4) There's another potential first-round pick coming from Dallas through the Rondo trade, but it's protected on both ends, so the Celtics would only get it if falls between the fourth and 14th pick. Since the Mavericks will surely make the playoffs, that pick will be transferred in 2016, when it's only top-seven protected.

2016 (3)
1) Their own pick
2) the Net's pick from the Kevin Garnett/Paul Pierce trade
3) the Cavaliers' from the Keith Bogans trade, provided Cleveland has this pick outside of the top 10.

2017 (1)
1) The Celtics can swap picks with the Nets

2018 (2)
1) Their own pick
2) The Net's pick

Newest addition from this trade
The Suns will send the Celtics a first-rounder from the Minnesota Timberwolves in the next two years only if the pick is not in the top 12. If the first-rounder still is not available by 2016, the pick will be a second-rounder.

So realistically, Celtics have 8 first rounders in the next 4 years, with half or less maybe in the top 10

Good for Ainge making up for that shyt Jeff Green/Perkins trade

The Celtics, in full rebuild mode in the wake of last month's trade that sent Rajon Rondo to Dallas, announced the deal to swap Wright to Phoenix for a conditional future first-round pick via Minnesota before Friday's game in Indiana. Boston also created a trade exception worth $5 million in the process by sending out Wright's $5 million contract while taking back no salary.

not sure if this has been brought up yet as I haven't read the thread, but LOL @ the Rondo trade. So poorly done it's unbelievable, they could have gotten a lot more elsewhere because what they got was a steaming pile of shyt.

The Rondo trade now turns into:

  • Crowder
  • Nelson
  • DAL conditional first-round pick in the 2015 draft
  • DAL second-rounder in 2016
  • $12.9 million trade exception, plus
  • MIN conditional first-round in either 2015/2016 or MIN 2016 & 2017 2nd rounders

Seems like they are keeping crowder but maybe they'll get another 2nd rounder for jameer
