I love this movie. Showed it to my kids last year. Both versions are fire but Gene Wilder was better. He had more anger to Wonka who was a genius trapped by his work.

Johnny Depp’s version was his take on Michael Jackson being Willy Wonka.

The names in the story are classic too.
