You play to win the game, and I understand fans wanting to put Johnny on a pedestal because they have an infatuation with him, but he's still not that good. All of his throws came off play action & he still had another two fumbles last game. That's four in two games, luckily our players recovered. Josh can make the big play too. He threw a fukking beauty before being injured to Barnidge that he didn't catch, but I do agree Johnny will take more chances. In all honesty, I think we have a pretty darn good team and I just want to play the players that give us the best chance at success, and in my mind, that's Josh McCown.

Plus we gotta keep in mind that Pettine probably thinks his job is on the line so he will probably prefer the veteran QB if he thinks we will have more success.

McCown had one drive in the Jets game and it ended with a turnover. He makes mistakes that rookies should make, not veterans like himself.

I think Pettine should go with Johnny until he proves to be a disaster. Gotta ride the wave. Taking him out now only to sub him back in when McCown gets hurt again, wouldn't be pretty.

He was trying to make a play for a TD. How long was that drive again? What's the longest drive Johnny has had? It's easy to be struck over a couple passes, but what happened before that last TD? He was 2-4 in the second half and has no trust within the organization for good reason. I'm trying to win games. That's just my opinion

So your solution is a guy who won one game last year in the weakest division in the history of football, and not the guy who just won last week?

If our offense didn't recover those fumbles, we'd be 0-2 & our D would've got torched like the week before for being out there so long. McCown is the better QB. If he passes concussion protocol, he'll start, so none of this back & forth even matters. I agree with the coaches on this one :yeshrug:

If Cleveland goes back to Josh McClown:wow:

Yes, I said McCLOWN, because that's what he is. Dude couldn't win with Mike Evans/Vincent Jackson/Austin Sefarian-Jenkins on the field with him and just isn't a good QB at all. At all.

Let Johnny play, grow, and take his bumps & bruises just like any other good organization would their 1st round pick. Sitting him on the bench for McClown is :snoop: status and your basically telling him that you don't believe in him.

Starting McClown over Manziel on Sunday? You might as well trade Johnny on Monday, because that's a slap in the face after he just had the highest QB rating for Cleveland since 2007.

17 wins in 50 starts and my dude saying "I'm tryin to win games" as his reasoning for starting McCown :dwillhuh:
