It's crazy...I can literally "feel" the difference in eating healthy or bad foods

I left 6 months ago for the Philippines on the surfing trip of my life. I was eating the freshest seafood, fish, fruits and rice all day everyday and that shyt changed my life. I never felt so healthy and fit, my appetite was growing tenfold and my energy level was unlike anything before.

I lost 30 pounds during that time. Now that I am back home, I realise how much of a challenge it is to continue that healthy lifestyle. All that processed, frozen food. Those additives and what not. The fast food... Don`t get me wrong I love eating greasy, fat and full of cholesterol as much as the next guy but after such a life changing experience, you realise the impact it has on your health and well being. I`ll have to be real careful from now on but my will is strong and I don`t ever want to go back to what I was

Can you expand a little more about your trip to the Phillipines? I'm thinking about going there next year when I'm out in Japan.

This might be your best thread. I don't feel like cracking your teeth after reading it. But yea I love the results I get from eating healthy. I eat a cheeseburger and can feel the shyt coming out my pores. I go take a shyt and leave the bathroom smelling like a dead body. These days the only meat I eat is fish. Bird here and there but rarely. I eat like a faq

homemade salad and apple after :win:

Cookout at 4 pm though ... :to:

Most fatties fail at their diets because they jump in at the deep end. Go from living off fast food to trying to live off salads, nuts and berries.

Thats never gonna work unless you have the will power of a Tibetan monk.

Take it slowly. Its a marathon, not a sprint. Try to steadily improve your diet, learn how to cook and work on an exercise regime.

Enjoy the cookout. Im about to bbq some fillets for the CL final. Chips, beers and wings already on deck.:whew:

Put us straight on life in the Philippines, breh.:takedat:

not trying to derail the thread so I`ll make this short but...

shyt was unlike anything I have ever experienced but definitely not for everyone.

The Phils is 7000 islands so there`s a LOT to see and experience

Most of my stay was in Siargao, a remote island on the pacific side where the famous Cloud 9 surf break is located.

There you will meet the nicest, most serviceable, resourceful and genuine people ever. It is a small community and after 2 months it literally felt like I was part of a family. You get to experience what a really simple life is and you quickly get disillusioned about your life back home. There is only so much thing money can buy but this place is a testament that happiness is not one of those thing.

It`s the life everyone dreams of having without ever having the balls to do it. The sun, the chicks, the island vibe, the waves. Stress free people living life day to day. I`m going back there next year to purchase a land and build myself an house with couple of cottages to rent.

It`s a universally accepted concept that we have to pay the price we pay for for goods & services, however cheap the actual cost may be. But after living many months in a place where such goods & services are dirt cheap, you don`t ever want to go back to such an expensive occidental lifestyle.

1 kilo of fresh tuna : 2,50$, 1 beer : 90c, 1 pack of Malboros : 1 $

of course there`s many different ways to experience the Philippines.. I hate to refer to that website cause I find foolish some of the things you can read on there but they have a decent travel section : Roosh V Forum
