It's been two full games and I still don't know what Caleb Williams does well

h does 2 things real well
paint his fingernails
and cry like a bytch
judging from that portfolio
theres probably a few other things his associates would say he's great at
unfortunately for bears fans
playing football isn't one of them
being bears fans though
they're probably happier with this outcome

What's really bad is if Caleb fails to have the season that's expected of him, they will fire the head coach and OC. The next Coach and OC that comes in will not be attached to Caleb. Meaning when Arch Manning is up for draft, the Bears will take him if possible and make the next 3 years a complete waste of time...

wouldnt be Penix :manny:

nah but on a serious note, its his rookie season game 2. damn chill. that scramble showed glimpses. and I'm a caleb hater.
Right. Didn’t Payton Manning go 2-14 his first season? I think he led the NFL in interceptions as well. Let these young boys cook for a season or two then make an evaluation.

Bryce should be starting this whole season before a decision is made. The owner, team, and organization should have known this was a throwaway season to develop the QB.

All these win now people are silly.
:why:

He'd better hope they sit him before week 16 because playing the Lions in the dead of winter (12/22) at Soldier Field could make him consider hanging it up for good and retiring on that NIL/signing bonus money.

An honest take... the Bears are not focused on Caleb Williams. They are focused on the Def. because that's why they hired the coach. They are expecting Caleb to be pre-packaged and ready out of the box, but there is no clear plan of success for him... this has always been the Bears issues with QB because its always been about the defense and not the offense.
They made a point to give him weapons, so I can't fully agree, but the bolded is accurate.

After 2 games?? :mjtf::snoop: But this was expected nggas, nggas not giving him a fair shake

His velocity on the ball is generational and lol @ arm strength. There’s video of him thrown 65 in high school

But we know what time it is, that ngga can win 10 super bowls he will NEVER be accepted as a good QB

I blame the Bears.

Two years ago they had the #1 pick and could've drafted Stroud outright.
They instead traded for all of those assets, yet still have Caleb getting crunched behind a bad o-line with no run support. Wasted time trading for old injury prone Allen like their window is open.

They laughed at the Panthers, and now they got Caleb looking like Bryce. I still have some hope for him though
Why do people keep saying this? One, Bryce Young was considered the consensus #1 pick, so Stroud wouldn’t have been taken first anyway. Two, Fields was coming off his second season in a year the roster was stripped down and he had nothing around him (didn’t even have a first round pick that season). Three, you draft Stroud, you don’t have DJ Moore, no Tyrique Stevenson, no Darnell Wright, no first round pick this season (that ended up being Caleb) AND we have a 2nd round pick in 2025. You’d basically have Stroud on a worse roster than he went to in Houston and hope you could get something for Fields.
