War in Eastern Europe is gonna be primarily ground based. If the US goes to war with China it's gonna be sea and air. The US does not want that kinda smoke. How many US carriers can fit in the China Sea? US is selling 3-5 nuclear powered subs to the Ausies, Taiwan is an unsinkable aircraft carrier. China would take heavy loses if it ever came to that.

That is to say the US could conduct war on both of those fronts.
