Yeah, last night's episode was one of the best in the series imo...The explanation for why the wedding went nuts was great.

how are we supposed to take this season so far? it's like they're releasing a greatest hits album. since the reunion they've brought back a ton of old characters. are they out of ideas or? im kinda confused.

Last night was a step in the right direction I thought the first 2 were mediocre.

All three episodes have been great so far. I nearly fell out my chair :laff: when Frank told dude have a drink if you feel. If you want some drugs take some drugs you deserve it you're a good person.

I just rewatched last nights episode and just noticed in all the craziness when Dennis says he couldn't get the signutare Frank put on this big smile that just cracked me up. I gotta say there a little underrated in there comedic acting the shows writing is funny but they just add to it immensley with how they act it out.

Just caught last weeks last night and you are absolutely right this has got to be one of the best random ass jokes they've ever had
mackiss3za1c.gif

:pachaha: Dennis' looks of disgust/contempt is genius

I died. That was my favorite callback because of the randomness and Mac's Banging the Waitress being a top 5 episode to me. When both of them thought he wanted to fukk them had me :dead:

It's throwing me off as well, all of the callbacks are fukking with me. Instead of going :deadrose: they crashed into a tree I say "Oh yeah, they did that in Mac and Charlie Die" :ld: or when they cut to Dennis's face fukking Ponderosa was funny but I'm saying oh yeah, like when he fukked that treehugger. :ehh:

All in all last night's ep was hilarious. Liam didn't recognize his brother til he lost the mustache, that pure bloodline really fukked with his cognitive abilities.

And Dennis being bailed out by Maureen, the execution was great.

I dont think people truly understand how good the gang recycles their trash ep really was. its on par for references with like Arrested Development and Breaking bad, there are too many references to previous episodes, therefore if you werent paying attention to earlier seasons and episodes then you went over your head.

Like when the woman asks, how much..and Dennis is like "two hundred dollars...." is a reference from when he and Dee get addicted to crack and he asks the Black dude how much for the crack..(the black guy said the same thing in that tone).

I cant think of the others because Ive been watching so much Sunny and Homeland, Boardwalk and Breaking Bad everything is running together but one day i will type something scene for scene and reference for reference.

yea. im sure. Its because of AD that ASIP even gets a shot at network television. Not hating, i love both shows and have the dvd sets of the seasons. Before AD not a lot if any shows slipped a ton of jokes by the censors and even going back and watching older sitcoms and such the character dynamics, (like dee and charlie, charlie and mac, dennis and mac, dennis and charlie, etc) werent built like that in the way they play off of each other. looking at shows like friends, seinfeld, cosby, fresh prince, martin (they had sometimes but not intentional) not often did characters team up or play off of each other, toward the remaining cast members. AD for lack of a better term developed that as their style, it was intentional everytime and with shows like sunny you can see how they generally have endless storylines
