Bryan was the PERFECT person on the other end of this feud. Could not have played this moment any better.

This title reign really was his WWE version of his ROH title run in 05-06. He did it for Homicide at Final Battle and he did it for Kofi at Mania. I'm sure dude was :krs: when the opportunity showed up for him and Kofi to have a program.

:mjcry::mjcry::mjcry::mjcry: im not gonna front brehs the lack of a black champion is pretty much the only reason why i never subscribed to the WWE network even though im a hella big fan lol.. I also gotta give major props to Daniel Bryan for letting a brotha go over him at Wrestlemania! Daniel you can come to the cookout bruh just dont expect me to eat your potato salad :mjlol:

Shout to my GOAT for doing what's best for business :wow:

You mean THE GOAT.

Lesser talent like Orton or HHH would have renegged or vetoed this moment down (like they did before). Daniel Bryan probably wanted to put Kofi over and certainly had no problems doing the job for a black man on the biggest stage. Salute to that man, we may never get someone this good again.

fukk all that shyt. They can call it whatever they want to, but everyone knows what the main event of WM35 was.
Point blank, period.
It was a great moment for women's wrestling, but at the end of the day, a vast majority of the people tuning in to this too-long wrestling event checked the entire fukk out after Kofi's match.
This was two shows put on back to back, and the first one ended with Kofi Kingston winning the title in the main event, and then it was followed by a bunch of curtain-jerking nonsense to open the second show that people just didn't give a shyt about.
He may not go down in the record books as headlining this show that went forever... but he's in the record books forever as the holder of that title, even if he loses it fukking tomorrow. And ain't nobody get a pop for their victory like Kofi did.

nikka we made it.
fukk everything else.
Kofi forever.

(side note: WWE has had this long-standing tendency of making black people only feud with each other. The roster shakeup happens in a bit over a week... I'm kinda down for a Kofi/Lashley main event program. I know it won't happen, but a nikka tryna put that energy into the universe just because.)

Whole fam copped the against all odds t shirt... this shyt was an experience... me and my sister were at the raw where he went ham on randy orton and put him through the table.. been a fan ever since.. we havent been to too many events like that so our claim to fame has always been "we were at msg when diesel turned on hbk and we were at raw when kofi bodied randy Orton"

To see this man get a shot and take it home and celebrate in the ring with his friends and children was amazing.. we were right there with him on that 11year journey.
