Speaking for myself, I put this right up there with Eddie winning the title. One of those rare moments in wrestling that will live on forever. Can’t even begin to imagine what it feels like to black wrestling fans.

Yeah felt like when Eddie beat Brock before mania and celebrated properly
Kofi journey was a lot like Eddies and it’s great they gave him this moment

I legit cried when Kofi won. I generally don't get emotional when it comes to professional wrestling. The only other time I cried when it came to anything wrestling related was the Raw is Owen episode from 1999. Kofi deserved it and I'm happy for him.

Just as organic is the fact that he’s actively part of a tag team and his teammates are a big part of the celebration with him. They always feel a need to split a tag team before giving someone a major singles push. It’s far better with all of them being a part of it. They also never give first real chances to a guy his age. He’s gonna be 38 in August and Eddie turned 37 about 8 months after he beat Brock.

I'm glad they had a new belt at 'Mania instead of celebrating with Daniel Bryan's eco belt and then switching it on Smackdown. That would've been the only thing that could've sorta spoiled that moment. Posing with that ugly ass belt (it fits D-Bry's character though).
