My goddamn self. Shout out to my real Africans
That's why I always laugh when the media refers to millenials like a homogeneous group. White millenials mostly share the same values as their parents, at a complete opposite from nonwhites.
This election was a clear evidence of it.

Theres that and even when you start probing the ideologies of Black millenials, you see that they have a very neoliberal sense of their politics which is problematic

And I wont get into how ridiculous and soft identity politics has become.

And like someone said, all of these billionaries are shady as fukk. Lol. How are people even delineating who is who in these times?

Of course the ATL
Im prolly never gonna let you live this down :yeshrug: I would get use to it at this point.

You been out here though. I honestly thought you would stop posting with that avi and all. :ehh:

The avi is as absurd as your QB's political stance. It's low key a conversation starter on some "aye breh you a Cam fan now" or "yea Cam's my favorite QB too breh". I'm like if these new nikkas only knew :mjlol:

The claim of the study is too quick for me to take seriously.
They would need to show some data and sales point pre speaking out and after speaking out for significant time to make any claim worth putting money behind IMHO.

Not really nonsense at all. It's more than just stock market. Republicans are generally more in favor of deregulation which businesses and industries love (i.e., Wall Street, oil and gas, manufacturing, trade etc.).

The housing/stock market crisis happened under Bush and republicans because of massive deregulation. Wall St made a killing tho.
they may favor those things, but it doesn't seem like what they favor leads to any great results in the financial markets. i brought up the stock market because it's entirely relevant to UA and the source article in this very thread.

UA's CEO didn't say what he said because he's expecting trump to be a boon for his business. he said it because he's a republican and from a solely partisan perspective it's good to have a member of his team in the white house. business wise, why would he believe trump could positively impact his lifestyle brand when his name is poison with the very people he wants buying his stuff? is UA solely courting the NASCAR/country music demo now ... i know they sponsored duck dynasty and he rides for them? if anything trump has the potential to hurt businesses like his because if he follows through on his trade policy talk it could get real expensive for UA to do business.

UA's price target has dropped twice this year. As you say they were already reeling for some time, the CEO's comments associating his brand with a controversial politician, whether it was mean spirited or not, has done more harm to the brands perception. To debate that is absurd especially considering how many times Plank and UA have tried to backtrack on those comments.

They've continually failed to meet expectations, especially so in Q4 of 2016. It's going to be very hard to if at all possible to rebound when a chunk of people in your target demographic don't want that association.

Perception does not always equal objective reality, I'm not arguing the perception. You can't just say the comments affected the stock when it It WENT UP and stayed up (although by literally like a fukking dollar) and that doesn't mean it went up or down because of his comments either.

Tons of UA consumers are white boys that do dip and where ugly camo shyt everywhere, those people are still gonna buy. If Brandon from Kentucky can still buy his camo UA beanies he's going to, Marcus from Baltimore is gonna get his UA parka when it's fukking freezing too if it's on sale.

Plenty of people like Trump and will not give a fukk about his comment. Plenty of people dislike Trump and will give a fukk. Plenty will dislike Trump but not give a fukk because they like Under Armour's compression underwear and running shorts which are the GOAT shorts.

:mjlol: @ cnbc being a leftist rag:mjlol:

Ok, that's a bit much and you're right. They're more centrist but clearly left-leaning. And they're more of a television platform than a "rag." I had WashPo on my mind when I wrote that line.

I think that's a fair assessment. They'll release their earnings reports soon though. The only thing we really have to go by is the CEO feels some type of pressure to continue speaking on it.

I just don't see him making a big deal if the numbers weren't looking funny.

I agree with all of these points.
