We don’t know what Wiseman’s work ethic looks like. He’s had an entire year to watch NBA film and refine his fundamentals. (Just because you’re injured doesn’t mean you aren’t participating in shooting drills, positioning, etc)I'm addressing the comparisons that people still give him. I forgot to mention Embiid also. Embiid and Giannis were never as bad as wiseman
Poole also had ridiculously good work ethic. And he was way more experienced. he got to play big minutes on a team with zero expectations his rookie season. Wiseman also made the 2021 warriors statistically worse than the 2020 warriors when he was on the court in terms of offensive and defensive rating.
Without steph, the 2020 warriors won 15 games. Without Steph the 2021 team was on pace to win 11 games.
well im judging him off the lineup that included Steph and Draymond. Those two lead the league in duo +/-. u dont need me to tell you they're a historic pairingWe don’t know what Wiseman’s work ethic looks like. Not gonna pretend like I have a crystal ball and can see into the future but I’m not gonna judge Wiseman based on how he played with a roster that consisted of Oubre, Wanamaker, etc…
Time will tell.. Somebody has to be right. It just gets under my skin that the doubt and slander is never as loud as the lovewell im judging him off the lineup that included Steph and Draymond. Those two lead the league in duo +/-. u dont need me to tell you they're a historic pairing
Wiseman made them negatives on the court
And if his 2 G League games are any indication, he still doesn't have the funamentals down
it is. Everyone loves poole and he was historically bad as you saidTime will tell.. Somebody has to be right. It just gets under my skin that the doubt and slander is never as loud as the love
Not a good look???
I mean, you the same nikka that was confident that we were bout to lose the Finals when things got rocky during the series. shyttt you and Don Homer were Wiggins haters 80% of the season. Pessimism comes easy for y’all.
My comment was geared more toward Joe saying he’s already in trouble with the rest of the league. fukk the rest of the league. I get the financial implications for him are crazy but don’t bring the feelings of other team owners into this shyt. It’s a really tough call. He would be spending nearly half a billion on just the player cost. Not to mention everyone who is part of the team but don’t play games.
It’s really a CBA issue. Why should the Warriors pay a ridiculous luxury bill for drafting well?
the lack of patience is astoundingHe doesnt have to be David Robinson or Giannis to contribute to the team. We watched Poole look historically bad his rookie season, I’ll leave it at that
I mean, the Warriors are playing with house money coming off a championship, so they’ll feel like they can take their time building all these guys up, but there are only so many touches that can go around, and I don't envision Kuminga nor Moody taking a backseat to Wiseman (then you have to throw Poole in the mix as well, along with whatever of the rookies stand up too), and both of them will be fighting for whatever they can get with the team still in win-now mode.
Patience should be reserved for someone like Embiid when he couldn't stay on the floor, but showed he could be anything when he was. Not for someone that can even do basic big man shyt cause he was never taught those things during his developmental years.the lack of patience is astounding

It'll be survival of the fittest with these young cats. It's not exactly an environment for a big man who needs a complete makeover to develop.

he's on the clock. We dont have patience. He's getting paid 12 million this season. and its been 15 months. fans have been patient long enough, especially since the organization has been pushing back his expected play time. he's not even playing in tonight's summer league bc it's a "rest day", according to Jama the head coach of summer league. This is an all-time pamperingthe lack of patience is astounding
