that doesn't sound very light years Joe.
It’s a really tough call. He would be spending nearly half a billion on just the player cost. Not to mention everyone who is part of the team but don’t play games.

It’s really a CBA issue. Why should the Warriors pay a ridiculous luxury bill for drafting well?

You came out me sideways with this shyt -

"look who's talking up kuminga now. smh
was just saying we shoulda packaged him a month ago"

So yes, you are a fukk nxgga when if you had bothered to pay attention I've been praising him all season long, and even called for him to replace Wiggins when it looked like he was fading in and out of games when Klay returned. What does that bullshyt have to do with Kuminga's game in relation to T-Mac's anyway? You simply wanted to get a shot off for whatever reason.

If you don't like being pressed, next time just stick to the topic/argument.
just as much as you praise kuminga, you marginalize him, acting at points like it wasnt worth it to keep him [instead of including him in a trade big/simmons type]

i know you an old ass nikka...yet you post like that 13 year old white kid who goes on 2K and calls you the N-word when he's losing. like i said, grow up man
everyone in here already knows what type of time you're on. you're a short sighted person

I don't marginalize his potential.

He's the only young guy on this squad who has superstar potential. I wanted to package the actual picks, and/or Wiggins and/or Wiseman and/or anyone else that had any value to strengthen the team. Once it was made apparent that Kuminga was a legit talent, than it made no real sense to trade him for someone like Turner.

Furthermore, nobody besides Steph should be looked at as untradeable on this squad. All of them should be on the block for the right price.

You don't know shyt, because I'm not old. I'm probably younger than you are. But again, what does that have to do with anything? See now, look at far you've strayed from the topic, all because you just can't stick to the argument and chose to inject all this trivial bullshyt into the discussion. And for what? All because you got in your feelings that nobody agreed with your T-Mac parallel, that you then had to lash out by throwing an unnecessary and irrelevant shot at me? It's hilarious how you want to go back and forth about nothing, but then didn't want to read and respond to what the actual argument was initially about.

And you want me to grow up? Your ass better look in that mirror.

"No surprise to us that if these guys got ... like Gary Payton had a good year and if he got a big offer, it was going to be very unlikely we were going to re-sign him, no matter how much we love him," Lacob told Kawakami. "And we did like him a lot. He got a much bigger offer, in fact, than we thought he would get. Way beyond. And I'm not saying he's not worth it or is worth it. But it is a lot. And it's not something we really could entertain doing."

That's exactly how Kuminga got his buckets this season, just in a more athletic/explosive manner. The similarities between them when they back down their matchup in the paint with the baby hooks and up-and-unders are uncanny. Even the post fades, which we've seen from Kuminga from time to time (still a heavy work in progress).

Kawhi was always my early comp for Kuminga it was part of the reason I felt he fit in with this team around the draft last year.

Hopefully the new cba fixes these issues

Man I’ll say this:

The Dallas mavericks decided not to keep 5 outta 6 of their free agents that helped them win a chip in 2011. The 2012 Dallas mavericks returned as the 7 seed and got swept in round 1.

I pray to GOD we don’t end up like the 2012 Dallas Mavs.

Agreed. It's the NBA talking about of both sides of their mouth basically. On one hand they want to put in shyt like the Bird Rights, and the ability for teams to pay their own free agents more money to slow down player movement. On the other hand put in the luxury tax and repeater tax that forces teams to make tough salary decisions and let go of players they may want to keep if they build too good of a team. To be fair it's been a problem dating back to the 70s at the very least. While reading Breaks of the Game they were complaining then about how tough it is to keep a winning team together because all the players would be wanting bigger salaries and teams couldn't afford to pay everybody.
