Just finished watching. Great team performance. Raptors really defend Steph better than anybody in the league and with all that attention on him the others stepped up big time. Steph might be the only superstar who doesn't get frustrated when defended like that and still makes the right play virtually every time.

Poole, Dray, Wiggins and Looney all great. Otto stepping up a lot more than Bjelica at the moment (the nights when neither of them are hitting is when it gets rough).

Really believe his final year at Davidson prepared him well for that kind of shyt. I remember teams were playing some hilarious defenses on him that season.

NBA finals: the story of the coach who held Steph Curry scoreless

Great scorers are equipped with a selfishness that demands they must put the ball in the basket. This is what makes them great scorers. Held too long without a point, they become impatient. They fight the defense. They force their shots through double teams. They try to make baskets that aren’t there.

This is the calculation Patsos made before daring Curry’s teammates to score in his place: he expected Curry to want his points. Only Curry refused the temptation.

“At the time I didn’t know he was that smart,” Patsos told the Guardian. “He has great composure. Would JR Smith be able to do that? Would Kobe [Bryant] or Michael Jordan?”

Ultimately, Patsos might have taught the NBA more about Curry than any of the guard’s 40-point games in college ever could.

“He was great about it,” Patsos said. “He shook our hands afterward. I became a bigger fan of his after that. He never broke, especially after they were up 20 and most guys would have been itching to score points. We tried to get in his head and instead he got in ours.”

:wow:

The only reason Wiggins is getting knocked at this point is his salary. But the Warriors didn't sign him to that. And if they don't acquire him, they don't have any additional financial flexibility. So it's either, he performs and they keep him or they try to trade for an upgrade. He has 1 more year after this, so why not wait until the off-season? Maybe you have more options as he becomes an expiring contract.

If Wiggins plays like how he’s been playing the last few week (which is still inconsistent but signs of aggression here and there) I think we’ll be alright. The salary hurts but just think, we could have been stuck with Dlo :hhh:
his salary is irrelevant. Without it, we’d still be well over the cap

Without question, they won't even consider changing anything until Klay is back and up to speed.

After that tho...

:yeshrug:

That said, he's looked good for the last 5 or 6 games....granted I missed a few of those...

:ld:
Wigs looks like he literally turned the corner on aggressiveness since that Twolves game.. Fam has been an animal

It is relevant in that we’re paying 30+ million for a 3rd or 4th option. Whether your over the cap or not, what team wants to do that?
The fukkin Warrior's that's what team will do that. Lacob and Larry told us when they was in Oakland that they going to spend the money to do what they feel is right for the franchise and don't care about the cost, they are willing to take the cap hit and tax to keep putting up Championship Banner's.

You should be thankful that we have a front office that's willing to spend.Klay, Dray and Steph is the main reason why our bench was weak for the last few years and yet they took risks that's paying off

And Warrior's are not the first or last to pay money for a 3rd option or 4th on a championship team or teams that's trying to win championships

Just like how you think his salary is irrelevant, other teams paying 30 mill for a 3rd or 4th option is irrelevant too. Just cuz other teams do it doesn’t mean it’s smart or a good idea.

you rather have no one there?
nah but there are cheaper options. And yes I know it doesn’t mean we’d be under the cap.

I get it, you guys like Wiggins. I’m glad he’s playing better. Like @Gil Scott-Heroin i hope he continues and plays well into the playoffs. That would only benefit the warriors. But let’s not act like we haven’t seen stretches like this from him in the past then he goes back to stretches where he’s invisible all game.

You don't get it don't you, that's what owners do when they won championships and try to win championships, damn the tax or cap hit, The Bottom Line is to win championships, and The Warriors broke the bank to get us a 3rd championship and doing the same now, that's what winning organization do. Yankee's, Dodgers, Warrior's, Lakers ect

Y'all guys complaining just to be complaining instead of being thankful we finally have a owner that cares about winning and do what ever it takes to win.

Maybe they should be like the past owners that gave us Todd Fuller's and shyt and didn't give a fukk
