Let's see if you're still a Wiggins fan in the postseason when he inevitability doesn't show up on the road. Like he did against the Cavs a couple games ago, then the home game against the Bulls before that.

:manny:
Its not that im a fan of him but he is more serviceable than he gets credit for. You can do a lot worse than having Wiggins as your 3rd/4th option assuming Klay is 80 percent of himself.

The fact you're referring to someone who's making $30m as being "serviceable" and a "3rd/4th option" is the problem.

It would be different if he was actually a ball-handler and could create for others.

He's gonna have games like this where the defense is strangling the life out of Steph, and the four players in the lineup are essentially playing with a 1-2 man advantage. If he's not making his open shots and cutting to the rim and finishing, consistently, he's a near-dead weight. The Cavs game showed us that. This team can deal with his inconsistency during the regular season because they've got the depth to cover, but that won't work in the playoffs.

But I digress.

It was a good character-building win. Onto the next.

If he can continue to play like this over the course of the season, then don’t trade.

Do u believe he can? Do u think these shooting splits are maintainable?
Trading him isn’t the issue. My outrage comes from the fact that you wanted to straight up dump his contract as if he was such a bad player that he was hurting the team.

he was, tho

his lack of aggression was hurting the team. The same way Poole taking ridiculously bad shots was killing our offense. If both are gonna play like this (similar, they wont score 30 a night), aggressive AND intelligently, they wont hurt the team

"My son is getting older, my oldest daughter -- she's 7 now -- they kind of get on my ass if we lose," Green said. "So that's motivation. And I think for me also, I've been s--- the last couple years, so my kids don't really understand how good I am. And I want them to see how good I am so they'll have an understanding. And so that is motivation for me. When I was playing at the top of my level, which I'm getting back to that now, they were like 3 and 1, so that is motivating for me to play well in front of them so they have an understanding of what I do.

"And most importantly I want to win, I want to be a Defensive Player of the Year again, and I want to be an All-Star again. And that is motivating me because a lot of people had counted me out. Same mistake people made before when I first came into the league -- but a lot of people doubted me, and doubted me again. And that's fuel to the fire."

The team is 15-2 when has he hurt the team? What are specific examples that made him such a liability that he should be traded away for nothing in return while also giving away a draft pick?

Getting rid of guys like Bazemore is addition by subtraction, Wiggins is not in that category.

Just finished watching. Great team performance. Raptors really defend Steph better than anybody in the league and with all that attention on him the others stepped up big time. Steph might be the only superstar who doesn't get frustrated when defended like that and still makes the right play virtually every time.

Poole, Dray, Wiggins and Looney all great. Otto stepping up a lot more than Bjelica at the moment (the nights when neither of them are hitting is when it gets rough).
