If there are legitimate criticisms of Garvey it would be he had tendencies of being a bit of a megalomaniac. He also tried to have the international community crown him the ruler of Africa, which is a bit outrageous as well..
This thread has inspired me to pick up some literature on Garvey;I'm heading to the bookstore first thing tomorrow. Please feel free to drop any suggestion, brehs.
I didn't know this.
Please read "Negroe with a Hat". Great book. Its available on Amazon.
Black America is a lost cause breh.
We are the least competent nation within a falling empire...shyt is only going to get worst for everyone from here on out...but we are going to get it the worst.
Our race has been hurt by our lack of unity, pride, and aggression. Hopefully Africa pulls it together.
I think Africa will get it together by the time I'm 50. But I would rather American blacks get it together as well, considering its where my family lives.Have you heard about all those recent stories over the past several years about how every second a new country in Africa is a "rising economy"(ie: Erithea)?
This does not seem like a tiny coincidence to me....
Yo man.......wouldn't it be the biggest of ironies if Africa has their "Renaissance period" simultaneously while Black America has one of their worst periods?
Folks can laugh all they want but I hold onto my belief that it will go through a "Japan moment" in terms of how Japan changed from the 40s to the modern era
It will be hilarious seeing these Black American c00ns kissing up to Africa in the next 20 years

Yeah, some people have called them "African Lions", similar to the "Asian Tigers" of years past.

I just PRAY that their leaders don't let cacs/chinks/spics/kikes steal their resources (again).
An African nation needs to build a nuclear weapon.
They(African countries) need to make these business deals with EACH OTHER
