No TV??....wow, hope to get there one day. Right now Im still hooked.
I hate TV, but I'm an internet junkie so it all evens out :snoop: Been making it a point to have dinner with her every night and not watch TV or be on the computer until she goes to bed.

Not sure who here has any infants.... mine will be 8 months next week.... but we have been having a lot of success with child led weaning. Basically instead of spoon feeding them baby food you just give them regular food and let them eat themselves. Shes in that phase where shes trying to put everything in her mouth so it makes sense. She loves it and we love it... we can all eat instead of us trying to force feed her. Big time saver. We do everything... sweet potatoes, broccoli, meatballs, eggs, pancakes, avocado, you name it. Just has to be soft enough for her to chew.

Parenthood is :wow: But you have to be ready and committed. I love it though

definitely dope. If you havent already, invest in one of these

Peel your apples, pears etc. It also removes the core. Steam them until they are soft, blend them up and add cinnamon. You can have days worth of apple/pear sauce without all the extra chemicals they add.

Start educating them young and monitor what they watch.
Most programming is filled with propaganda that will shape their mind for years to come.
Very true. They start asking for their hair to be straightened and you know you gotta tighten up on the images they are watching.
I talked with my oldest about propaganda like that. How villains always wear black (have black hair), storm clouds are supposed to be bad, black cats are bad luck. I told her not to buy into that stuff. Its the world programming people not to like dark people like us.

I just let him play games, puzzles, outdoors as much as possible. If he watches anything I have to prescreen some episodes, usually just stick to educational material. Might look for content overseas.

Plants in the house is essential to purify the air
Make them look after the plants

Honey and lime every morning keeps those common colds away

my sons love watering and taking care of the plants. I got em growing mother tongue plant leaves in their room.

t-dot till they bury me
Twins (3 years old, boy/girl)

We eat dinner every night at the table as a family 630ish. Tv off, music playing in the background. It's to the point where we're at family/friends for dinner and my kids ask me "shouldn't their tv be off daddy:lupe:?". Train them early.

Seen a bunch of posts about eczema. While topical solutions may help, consider diet as well. A lot of skin problems are as a result of the food you are consuming.

My daughter had mild eczema and we noticed that eliminating cows milk made her eczema disappear.

Get them familiar with technology (tablet, touch screens, etc) while finding a balance with the classics (playdoh, Lego, etc). Outdoor time is a must; get them a b-ball, soccer ball, etc - no hermit kids  Play with your kids please :comeon:

Swimming - I wish I learned to swim :snoop:. Life skill everyone should have. Starting my kids this fall in swimming lessons. We held off because my son had chronic ear infections when he was 2.

They start kidndegarten in Sept :mjcry: Time lierally flies by.

I love being a dad :blessed:

Make them stay away from roblox and musical.ly
What’s wrong with roblox? My son likes playing when he gets a chance.

My daughter is about be 2. She’s very demanding and gets a lot of attention. Trying to potty train her at this moment.

Might have another bun in my woman’s oven. Waiting for the test.

It’s fine just periodically check messages people send her, too many perverts out there. And me personally I wasn’t comfortable with my 3 year old (at the time) talking about shooting and killing people. I didn’t even know the game involved killing until I was watching her play.
