Garbage? dude came from being a awful prospect at george town to one of the best defensive c's in the league.
The myth of Roy Hibbert being an "awful prospect" at Georgetown has to stop somewhere. As someone who watched him play in high school, he was actually a skilled big man whose development was hindered after he broke his foot twice as a sophomore at Georgetown Prep, but yet still managed to dominate his junior and senior years and by the time he got to Georgetown, he was ready to play from Day 1. He played in every game during his career at Georgetown, started every game from the beginning of his sophomore year until he left and would've easily been a lottery pick if he had left school after his junior season. The biggest thing he improved on was his conditioning once he got to the league, but he could always play.
