It was too artistic because you didn't understand it?This movie was hot trash.
We are giving points to this movie, because the cinematography was good?
The dialogue.:whatthehell?:
Why do people keep saying they are kids? Ol'girl was finished high school, she was even in college.
That guy she was fukking in the beginning, was also finished high school.
I thought that skinny guy the "liked" her was gay. Like the gay guy best friend that girls usually have.
I didn't really buy that whole relationship/love affair.
There were so many problems with the plot.
Starting with why were some of the zombies wearing clothes, and some not?
Who were the zombies?
Remember when she was in the swimming pool, and her dead father was trying to kill her? :whatthehell?:
Why?
This movie was way too artistic for its own good.
This cat is remedial..It was too artistic because you didn't understand it?
nikka pleaseI just got back…I kinda loved it, eerie, haunting, uncomfortable, great cinematography and the score? fukking amazing. That kind of creepy music that seeps into you after it's over, and has you checking the back as you leave. I may write more later, but this is is very dope. It manages to be contemporary horror, which so many throwbacks to horror classics and traditions, it pays homage in a very respectful, nostalgic, and even touching way. It also works as a parallel to adolescence and sexuality, going deeper then most horror movies that graze the subject. It takes it self seriously enough, but with hints of self awareness and style that compliment it's scares nicely. Great horror, much stronger then what was last years strongest offering 'Occulus', this is horror with originality, tradition, and real talent behind it.
babadook was much better, down to what it was inferringIt was OK but definitely not worthy of the insane amount of hype that it has gotten. At least it wasn't as bad as that fukking Babadook movie.
there are still movies that scare me, not to the point where i'm about sitting home at night, but there are movies that leave meBut the question is how scared can you truly be of a movie the older you get and the more desensitized you become
