I didn't like this movie, like, at all. I liked the Babadook wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more in terms of recent "horror" movies. I thought about that film for days afterward. Whereas, I wanted to watch another movie immediately after It Follows to get the stench off my retinas. It has an interesting premise. I fukked with the first act; but, it's explored on such a superficial, cursory and banal level, that by the end I couldn't wait for this shyt to end. I also thought the heavy synth, edm sounding songs on the soundtrack were weak. They felt anachronistic for me. When I think scary, creepy, haunting, whatever, I don't think Flux Pavallion or some shyt. But, everyone seemingly loves it.

I said the synth heavy, EDM sounding tracks were weak, actually. Anachronistic even. It's like going a waltz and the Honkey Tonk breaks out. It would feel outta place. But, enjoy your evening.

Movie was cool... Wasn't righteously scary... But it had a real sense of dread and hopelessness from an emotional standpoint...
and that's rarely seen in contemporary so called horror joints.....
soundtrack was a good fit too..... shyt probably cost 671 dollars to film...... and they did good with that....
