Did not like it nearly as much as I did Chapter One. Kind of felt the same about the original as well. Starting to think that no matter what, maybe the adult's story just doesn't translate that well on screen, even if it is a part of the book. Not to mention, this shyt was way too damn long. I walked into the theater around 10:20 and didn't walk out til almost 1:30. Damn near fell asleep in the theater at one point with all of the false climaxes. Sad too, cuz the lineup of actors was pretty good for this kind of movie but it felt wasted. But, it just seemed to drag on and on (without the charm of the first one).

And for this foo' talkin' bout a 7 hour cut release? Must have lost his fukkin' mind :mjlol:

I heard they completely wasted the black character again :unimpressed:, Even on Reddit people are mad about that. They said e\in the book he was an instrumental character, in the movie he was slightly necessary

Thoughts, Black breh was the weakest casting, just not a great actor plus no depth to him

Next poor actor was grown Ben, he was :noah: no doubt but it’s sad when your kid actor played you better

The reshoots with the kids were too ovious, I mean maybe it wasn’t supposed to look like a month or two later, but those growth spurts, especially bev looking like a fukking adult in the classroom with Ben lol

There were fukkery moments but overall didn’t feel this installment felt anywhere near as menacing, dark, or scary as it should have been. And I would’ve made the directorial decision to
leave bowers out of is, his return added nothing to the story on screen, didn’t help build up the power of pennywise, didn’t pose a real threat, just taking up space given the movie doesn’t explore IT’s power over people explicitly....but it was good fukkery :ehh:

6.5/10 for me. Need to watch the two together to come up with a real final verdict on these two

Just watched this..

The IT series always comes off as PG 13 movies trying too hard to be Rated R. Nothing is scary.. storylines are blah..
Lets face it, all Stephen King movies are better as books. They dont translate well to the screen.

Just weak

I thought The Mist was solid.

Acting was horrible throughout , especially the breh
but it wasn't needed any extra skills to play his part..it was decent. and the breh ie character was fukked up..lmao./ dude was a loaner, no family etc..and had to call up a bunch of adults he was friend's with 25 years ago..and got 2 killed and other's traumatised.
