They also glanced past 2 turtles in the school. Is that a nod to pennywise’ rival? I remember reading about that turtle but that wouldve been too much fukkery to explain cause they are related or some shyt?

I thought this film was really good overall, I liked it just as much as the first if not more. I'm not going to lie, not sure if it was the edibles or what, but bill Hader made me shed a tear at the end. He was the highlight of this film but everyone was great. I feel like people keep going into these films thinking it will be the scariest shyt ever and then when it isn't it's an automatic disappointment for folks, plus the cosmic horror aspect will lose the mainstream audience too. Not to say that this movie is perfect, but I'm not really understanding why it was rated so much lower than the first, they both have similar flaws.

This movie gave me a new appreciation for the miniseries which I watched a lot as a kid

It handled the horror aspects of the adult portions much better since it wasnt just vignettes of CGI creatures chasing someone around for a while before they easily escape. Pennywise's antagonism and machinations there revealed his weakness to the adult Losers. Here it was just random bullshyt with odd things from the book thrown in there just to name drop em

my opinion as an avid film goer and cinema fantac., this was atrocious and missed some pretty good bits as it had a decent budget.
