Me personally I enjoy my job but I've enjoyed my job ever since I got into IT. You have to keep in mind that security has many areas of focus so a good question to ask yourself is what sounds interesting to you?

Pen testing, sounds the most interesting. I’m more hands on than paperwork and policy.

Going thru the Messer A+ notes and videos and I feel that networking is the hardest part of the whole thing. shyt like network ports, 802.11, IP addressing.

Hard...pause... it was one of the harder test i've done.. but im not a network engineer so if you work in networking it may be easier

What tips do you have for someone that is planning on taking the exam? What study material did you use?

I worked in Telecom Engineering and just fell in love with subject and kept self studying. Looked at the top paying certs cloud n security and knocked out 4 of them. Most money I made in my life.

Love my job because I learn something new every day but I want to get into those consulting companies. If not, a major cloud provider
I am all about which direction will open more opportunities. I have little trust in companies.
