My company think some funky ass unrelated videos are training .
Lemme guess. LinkedIn Learning? My company has the same bullshyt. It's garbage. Youtube is a better platform for learning than that.

Brehs!
I just got a call from Coca Cola in Central TX for basic Desktop Support Analyst

They want me to send them my resume because "Indeed's resume is formatted" or whatever.
I was wondering if any of you brehs can take the time and review my resume for me.. It will be much appreciated
Update : @Hahahaha gave me some tips on how to improve my resume. I did them, sent it in and I have a video interview with the tech manager on Wednesday. I guess it’s gonna be a tech nterview too so I’m brushing up on my shyt. Damn I hope I get this job
Love hearing brehs talk about tech
That and another internal platform. shyt, and me to some hands on training because all I'm gonna do is play these videos and go do something more interesting.Lemme guess. LinkedIn Learning? My company has the same bullshyt. It's garbage. Youtube is a better platform for learning than that.
I've used it. It works pretty well. It's 6K upfront and then a couple hundred a month I think. The version I was using made packaging applications annoying but it's a decent product. Are there any Mac sysadmins on here? Familiar with JAMF?
I'm a few months into it just trying to learn scripting and building policies. It's easier than SCCM to me. I use the free one on my personal devices to practice at home but my job pays for the big boy version so I can get my hands dirty when I get my skills up.I've used it. It works pretty well. Question brehs, my manager mentioned having to learn Python and Ansible, how long do you think it would take me to get good at this Devops stuff by self learning?
Build something with python (autmation script, personal project, game etc)
Deploy something you would normally do manually instead with ansible (for example lets say u manually deploy a windows vm to an esxi host, well try to do that now with ansible)
From my experience doing is the only way learning those things really will stick. You can go through as much tutorials as possible but it won't matter till you have an actual project made with it. Doesnt have to be that BIG just build somethng multiple things even.
