Nothing in that cutriculum has anything to do with BA skills, cant believe they teaching COBOL either lol. You can prob get a programming job as a jr developer from the curriculum

guess this is why alot of dudes don't like community colleges. lt's like a step about for profit colleges...

Is this thread only for people looking into Network admin/help desk/security positions? What about people looking to become a developer/programmer/bioinformatics specialists? I've read that its best to read through all 489 pages of the thread, but for pages 1-10 it's been all Networking/Cisco/Security related. I'm not going to read every page if its 90% Networking especially if Im gonna have to take a 36k/yr paycut for 4-5 years just to get back to my current salary.

had my first contact with Robert Half today. they seem sketchy as fukk :mjfrancis:

They are...

WOAT recruiting company...they're never specific of what they have in terms of jobs and always want you to come in to speak with a recruiter.

Its always " we have a number of positions that fit your skill set. We would like you to come in so we can discuss further" :troll:

Biggest wasters of your time

The people are cool too. Only problem is I suck with names and faces. And I get paid monthly.

Has anyone taken the Microsoft 70-461? And in general, are the classes for Microsoft certs worth it? $1000 per class for each test and I wanna take 5 tests :scust: shyt's not really related to my job so I can't pass the cost to them

You planning on eventually getting the BI MCSE? I was thinking about getting the SQL MCSA since I had an DB Security Class last semester and I`m in a DBA class now, then getting the BI MCSE after I take this BI class in the fall but I heard the Server related MCSA/MCSE are the only ones that matter.
