I also used Stephane Mareek's course on Udemy. I purchased his courses for the associates, dev, devops and sa-pro (taken the exams for aforementioned other than devops pro), then referenced each of them, but mostly his handouts as they served as refreshers for certain services.

Mareek's SA Pro course doesn't have hands-on demos, so I went through Cantrill course and did demos, and would read Mareek's SA Pro handouts to cement the key facts about each AWS service.

Mareek's notes came in handy for the advanced networking services, migration and hybrid cloud services
How long did it take for you to study Adrian Cantrill course? I see that one is longer than Maareks AWS course. Would you recommend using Maareks Courses for the slides and combine Cantrill course just for the DEMOS?

That was essentially my strategy but I went to Cantrill's theory lessons.

I got through 65% of cantrill's course. Study time probably averaged to 4-6hrs a day for 2 months, bare in mind your boy was unemployed and did virtually nothing other than study and socialize every once in a while.

Just got the Sec+! Now I got the initial trinity complete of A+,Net+, and Sec+. I know somebody in gov work that will sponsor me for a security clearance. Been only working in this field for 10 months but feels like I'm making gains already.

what sources did you use to pass it?

Study tips for Network Plus?

Trying to get it by hopefully July, not trying to keep shelling out $300

I have all the books and Professor Messer but It really just bores the shi* out of me.

Flash cards, old fashioned notes? what's some tips?

I have a phone interview next week for a job. The recruiter told me that its more of a manufacturing IT role and not like a cubicle type of job. I have no experience in IT, how should I approach the interview? Anyone have experience working at a manufacturing company?

MeasureUp practice exam engine was damn near identical to the test when I did mine. That was the only exam I didn't pass on the first try back in the day. You sound like you be more of a kinesthetic learner like I am when it comes to networking so I would set up a sandbox network in the crib on an old device with a VM.

They love you for the first 12-24 months because you work cheap and just happy to be there. Year 3 is when the rubber starts to hit the road :wow:
