They making you go back to the office?Yeah I’m about done with United Airline’s bs. By this summer I’m doing everything I can to be elsewhere. Not settling for anything else but remote. This shyt too good.
I’m pretty well rounded so recruiters are always hitting me up with some nonsense.
You don’t even need a couple of years, sounds like you’re hungry and will be ready to level up by this time next yearMy new job flying me out to their HQ for 4 days hands-on training 1st week of April on their dime.
Never experienced this with a company before So It's admirable but slightly out of my comfort zone. But It's cool knowing this company is willing to invest in their employees this much and they're going through a growth boom right now too.
I'm anxious and giddy at the same time. Just the sheer amount of services this company offers that I will have to support; cloud (Azure/GCP) , network management, server management, VDI Support (VMware/Citrix), MDM and a bunch of other stuff.
The amount of skills I am going to pick up,
It's supposed to be Level 2 position but it's a LOADED level 2.
Gimme a couple of years, Brehs, when I hit the job market again............
I have Mike Meyers Udemy courses on A+ 202-1001 and 202-1002.
Would this also be helpful?
or is the Udemy courses and professor messer YouTube videos enough?

2 of my boys got their secondary degrees through them...they seem to check outso what's 6 certs gang official stance on wgu?
thinking about enrolling into their BS in information technology program. i work full time at a tech startup but i have no obligations outside of myself, so i feel pretty confident that i could bang it out in a year or so. the price and competency based learning concept is very appealing to me.

That's dope. I didn't know companies are still even doing that during the pandemic.
I haven't been flown out to a company's HQ in years. Stuff they used to train us with for hands on have all been online. I've always said I'd rather learn how to drive a car by getting behind the wheel and practicing instead of watching videos on how to do it.
