Yes Rense.com has strong opinions on topics, and I don't agree with all of the ideas spouted......but then some of it I do :yeshrug:.
Nor do all his contributors agree with each other....so there's that :manny:.
Then again I don't agree with everything anyone says, so there's that too...:francis:

Trump’s Budget Cuts $10 Billion in Foreign Aid, Israel Unaffected

Trump’s Budget Cuts $10 Billion In
Foreign Aid, Israel Unaffected

By Stephen Lendman
3-18-17

Trump’s proposed budget slashes discretionary spending, except for militarism, warmaking, veterans and Israel.

It continues getting $3.1 billion annually in largely military aid, despite facing no threats - the amount increasing to $3.8 billion each year when the current 10-year agreement expires in 2018.

Netanyahu asked for $4.5 billion annually. Perhaps Trump and Congress will oblige ahead, cutting more domestic social spending to offset the increase.

According to the Congressional Research Service, “Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of US foreign assistance since World War II.”

Through 2016, it’s gotten at least $150 billion since 1949, along with state-of-the-art weapons and technology, low or no-interest loans, supplemental handouts when requested, unrestricted US market access, free entry for its immigrants and much more.

What Israel wants it gets in flagrant violation of the 1961 Foreign Assistance Act (as amended), stipulating no aid be given nations engaging in:

“a consistent pattern of gross violations of internationally recognized human rights, including torture or cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment, prolonged detention without charges, causing the disappearance of persons by the abduction and clandestine detention of those persons, or other flagrant denial of the right to life, liberty, and the security of person, unless such assistance will directly benefit the needy people in such country.”

Trump’s America first bluster includes Israel. Domestically, it isn’t about helping ordinary people, just its privileged class, wealth disparity ahead to become more extreme than already, human need unconscionable.

UN funding will be cut sharply under Trump’s proposed budge. So will amounts to other international organizations - targeted for criticizing Israel and supporting Palestinian rights, along with circumventing US sanctions on Russia, Iran, North Korea and other countries.

Funding will be terminated for any organizations Washington claims “is controlled or substantially influenced by any state that sponsors terrorism.”

America, NATO, Israel and other regional rogue states are the worst offenders, along with other repressive regimes closely allied to Washington.

In whatever final form Congress passes Trump’s budget, it’ll be hugely regressive. It’s just a question of how much.

It’ll be overweighted on militarism and corporate benefits at the expense of eroding social justice, notably since the neoliberal 90s.

As usual the Israelis are denying losing the plane, one is reported to have crashed in Jordan, the other damaged.

In December the supposed Israeli plane crashed on Israeli soil and the pilot was able to bail out, of course with the obligatory denial by Israel.

The Syrians in this incident used old S-200 missile system from the 70's, but this is confusing when you realize that its not the same weapons system. The missile carrier looks identical to the newer ones from a distance but this hides all the upgrades that were done making it an entirely new system.

The actual missiles are more compact and the radar and electronics are fully digital with the latest off the shelf components thanks to commercially available parts from Japan and Taiwan. This means that unlike its namesake used by the Egyptians in 1973, this is more resistant to jamming, much more capable and it cost peanuts to upgrade because it shares some of the stuff inside your iPhone and router.

The other thing that is usually overlooked by journalists is secure data-link technology.
The Israeli planes are painted by S-300 radars on Russian ships in Latakia and the S-400 at Khmeimim Air Base as soon as they take off deep inside Israel's border all the way into Syria. The data link allows S-300 and S-400 radars operated by the Russians to guide Syrian missiles covertly, allowing them to ambush the Israelis.

This is all due to Israeli arrogance. Next time they will use standard operating procedures which have dedicated electronic warfare planes, and Suppression of Air Defense (SEAD) aircraft in the package.

This level of jamming will not stop S-300/S-400 systems from targeting and hitting them, but it stops the data link that allows Syrians with their older systems to turn off their radars and sneak in some missiles in an ambush.

The Israelis will continue probing and poking, until they get their fingers burnt, they cannot help it.

The Syrian conflict is terrible due to the loss of lives and destruction, but for all the observers it is scary and exciting from a technological, and tactical point of view.

It raises A LOT of interesting implications and any new war fought in the future will look more like Syria 2012-2017 than the Gulf War 1. The same with the conflict in eastern Ukraine. Israeli military analysts are shytting their pants on Twitter.

Rense is a white supremacist

Yeah.....you can justifiably make that argument on some levels. But if Get Out taught you anything you don't have to be a certain political perspective to be racist :sas1:. I do cringe and say "fuuck out of here" at times when he is having some dialogue on race related issues. Then I realize, I listen to Dr. Boyce, Umar, and Tariq, and basically they are talking about the same thing from a different perspective, which is progress and integrity of a racial group.....and my posts absolutely reflect that I want the African Diaspora to elevate and succeed

Plus, he also talks about GMO foods, he talks heavily about Fukushima, he talks about the fukkery in the financial markets/banks, he talks about deceptive ways warmongering seems to stay around no matter the administration, he talks about many things you don't hear on the MSM. These stories are important to all human beings, not just black people. For that matter my favorite black pundits are not going to talk about most of these things either. FOX or MSNBC are not going to tell you about that 10 year $40 billion deal we sent to Khazrael, and if they do it will be a quick blurb with no further commentary.

So as I've said multiple times before, just because I don't agree with a pundit on one level, I'm not going to throw the baby out with the bath water if some of their other points are interesting and actually agree, or can glean some knowledge from. I don't agree with anybody on everything, so I'm not going to throw away folks because I can't agree with you on everything.

It's degrees to this thing.

Plus, its' more than just the pundit, but the guests and contributers that come on the show or write articles with other diverse perspectives, expertise, and insight.

I know I say the above every 2 months, but it's fine. I know folks throw the racism refrain in there, which is understandable, but there's levels to this thing.........need to balance the emotional with the objectivity, it's freeing ...........yall gone learn :sas2:

Can you go into more detail about this? What are the new tactics being used and how is this different from the other modern wars of our time?

It's the electronic warfare. The Russians have been jamming things on the Mediterranean and been able to use their helicopters and planes to divert missile attacks from US made TOW that the rebels and Al Qaeda have. They've also flustered various NATO ships within 600 km of Latakia.

The Israelis are blabbering about destroying all of Syria's air defense but it would put them in direct conflict with Moscow. They are smarting over this embarrassment but they will poke again, it's what they do.

But they should be wary because Syria is used as a tested and training ground for the Russians and even the Chinese have a low key presence for the same reasons.

I'd expect export-grade electronic warfare equipment is present with both Russian and Syrian personnel to see what the older equipment will do with the latest countermeasures the West has to offer.

The latest stuff (S400 and S300) will not be used much.

You gotta read some of the state run sites and the independent blogs, there's a lot of knowledge out there

The Russians didn't care about the area near the Golan or west/south of Damascus.

But striking targets in Palmyra where they've recently pushed back ISIS was the reason Putin summoned the Israeli Ambassador. Israeli strikes in Russian theatre of operations isn't going to go over well and the Israelis know this. They just want to poke and see what they can get away with.
