Destroyed? He’s not denying that the holocaust happened as it’s been reported, what he is saying is given what we have learned recently about Israel’s massaging of the facts that it starts to call into question how they’ve reported their own history throughout time.
Of course this was something I mentioned would be a problem Israel would create for their citizens and Jews across the world about a year ago—that they’d erode their trustworthiness. What a disservice they’re doing to Jewish folks.
All that being said, I think the holocaust happened as reported. It’s just sad and abhorrent that something so horrible has been weaponized to commit atrocities and land theft against others. The holocaust has become a shield to deny the questioning of any reprehensible behaviour by Israel or Jewish populations since.
