I know people posted it earlier, but the reply, again on point.

We can't progress forward no matter how good a party is if they have viruses like this all through it.
They're just time bombs waiting to go off and cause a ton of damage that kills any progress.

Trump was actually right when he said that Democrats need to "Drain the swamp". You can't be bamboozled to think the Democratic party is some symbol of virtue without dog shyt people in there.

Vastly better than most Republican leadership, but don't for a second get complacent thinking "mission accomplished" once you have Democrats elected into power because there are people like this passive aggressively living in the party and who really aren't all that hard to find because of how they vote on policies. Simply got to stop being naive. It's got to be more like "I'll vote for this party when you remove __ from it".

Staffed with folks like these, it's no wonder "American diplomacy" has become an oxymoron...
