Socio-economic/historical conditions are obviously a factor in all those cases, it just so happens that the socio-economic conditions for most Western Christians/Jews (Israeli violence is often given politico-socio-economic consideration) would and should not give rise to organized and widespread violence as we recognize it. The states they live in commit that violence for them, which is they there is no large faction of Christian extremists doing such violence, it's been contracted out to state level. Arab Muslims, on the other hand, have been living in constantly destabilized states, and as such, the violence their ideology uses to survive is more localized. So when a radical Christian blows up an abortion clinic or an ultra-orthodox Jew stabs a bunch of people, it's a much more fringe phenomenon because they're already living within a stable society based on their ideology, it's an intra-societal act. Religion and socio-historical conditions are operating in the same ratio for all three cases, we just refer to them differently because one group is having their socio-historical conditions altered in a much more public and frequent manner. If the shoe was on the other foot and Christian/Jewish societies were constantly being invaded and fukked with, we would see the same proportions of violence we're currently seeing from Arab Muslims.

How do you smash them? It's pretty easy to see.
In flat terrain like Iraq, Libya and most of Syria, use cluster bombs.
With that, all of ISIS is wiped out in hours, only those holed up inside cities will survive, and they can be cut off and destroyed.
If you don't care about civilian casualties like Russia, or you can "manage " media access like the Israelis you can wipe out ISIS in a matter of 10 days to 2 weeks via close collaboration between the new so called “4+1” - the Syrian Arab Army, Iranian and Hezbollah fighters with Russian air cover - and the Kurds, PKK, YPG, and Peshmerga.
“Comprehensive international coalition” to fight Daesh is fine. But Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, at the table in the Vienna charade, is a joke. And John Kerry should be realizing this in Vienna.
When Obama called ISIS a "JV squad" he even knows these guys can be wiped off the map really easily. But the efforts have been half assed. Yes, the US airstrikes have contained them from gaining territory but they haven't been completely destroyed and they've still had areas of movement.
With the recent attacks abroad, ISIS will be destroyed very soon especially if Saudi, Turkey, and Qatar get the fukk out of the way. Those 3 have let these guys have free reign in Turkey's case and the Saudis/Qataris haven't closed the doors on those generous "donors" who have wired money to these guys. For convenient reasons.
Don't forget the pipeline wars between Qatar and Iran which go through Syria for their natural gas industries.

This would take care of ISIS the "state" but not ISIS the ideology. In fact, committing such atrocities would probably end up radicalizing millions more. Imagine being a young, marginalized muslim in France or the US and seeing a western coalition vaporizing 10 million fellow muslims. Remember, ISIS was an offshoot of Al-Qaeda, carpet bombing millions of women and children will likely produce another even more vicious offshoot. These guys can't be stopped with bomb and guns, this is an ideological war.
The ideology starts in Saudi

You have to do it economically but the Saudis hold the oil market in their hands. They would crash the global economy.
You can't have foreign forces invade and occupy because of the 2 holy cities. It has to be a Sunni only effort.
