How often was mike guarding the best player on the team? Mike got alot of blocks from guarding the 3rd or 4th best offensive player so he was allowed to roam alot right?Wasn't as good on ball as Mike, wasn't as good as blocking shots and creating turnovers (gets 90% of his blocks trailing his man, not at the basket), hands are not even close, doesn't jump passing lanes on an elite level, ect.
He's great at team defense and good defending post bigs, solid as an on ball defender on the perimeter but not elite.
He played 2 full years and 17 games (broke foot) before Scottie was drafted, and Scottie wasn't good until year 3, that's 6 years. He won MVP and DPOY in 88, Scottie played 20mpg and averaged 7pts that year, Scotties rookie year. Scottie was not a great player at that point . But ok fam.How often was mike guarding the best player on the team? Mike got alot of blocks from guarding the 3rd or 4th best offensive player so he was allowed to roam alot right?

in 1989 before jordan won anything he said he was the best he ever faced
He’s went from magic to Jordan to Kareem to lebron(after the last dance) his opinion changes like seasons
He guarded the best player multiple times during games. Scottie was just the primary defender, meaning MJ would still guard the best player multiple times per game.why did you avoid answering the question?
he wasnt the primary defender of the other teams best players ok got it. What about before Pippen was he the primary defender of the other teams best players before pippen was there? Im 44 and i dont know if youre being totally honest. If youre primarily guarding the opposing teams 3rd or 4th best offensive player and allowed to roam alot doesnt that help you get a lot of steals and blocks when you can basically avoid your assignment and play help D most of the game?He guarded the best player multiple times during games. How often has Bron guarded the best perimeter player every possession? If that's not a winning conversation for Bron, and you include the fact that hands, passing lanes, and and help defense favors Jordan by a large margin, do you really wanna take it there?
That's not how basketball works my dawg.he wasnt the primary defender of the other teams best players ok got it. Ok so he wasnt before Pippen was there either got it. Now you said that Mj was a way better on ball defender than Lebron but in the late 80s and through the 90s Mj was primarily guarding some of the other teams worst offensive players wouldnt that make you look incredible as an on ball defender if majority of the time when your guarding someone on ball hes one of the worst offensive players out there? That's not how basketball works my dawg.
No player in NBA history has ever guarded even 70% of a players possessions over a whole game. Has NEVER happened.
No single superstar has ever guarded the best match up on the opposing team for a whole game. It has never happened and you are trying to create a talking points that doesn't benefit Bron AT ALL lol. It makes your argument worse fam smh.
BJ Armstrong or Gacy was defending the best player? Gervin? Hodges? Paxon King didn't defend guards and was slightly above average.Ok so he wasnt before Pippen was there either got it. Again you avoid answering the questions. Im asking you questions based off of what you said my guy. It aint hard to answer simple questions. Either you know the answers or you dont.BJ Armstrong or Gacy was defending the best player? Gervin? Hodges? Paxon King didn't defend guards and was slightly above average.
So as you are once again making shyt up, who was the primary defender for 6 years, while MJ was regarded as the best player on the planet on both ends?
And another thing some teams best offensive players arent guards so why are you singling out guards? Bron can guard 1-4 comfortably wouldnt you agree? MJ cant. so dont single out guards when were trying to see if mj was primarily guarding the other teams 3rd or 4th best offensive players because guards werent always the other teams best scorers right?BJ Armstrong or Gacy was defending the best player? Gervin? Hodges? Paxon King didn't defend guards and was slightly above average.
