The only way to make it work without giving up Tatum, Brown, and our core players to match contracts would be Crowder, Bradley, and Smart for Gasol. Memphis might even want a pick. Lottery picks are out of the question. Marc is gonna be 33 so if you trade for him you better be ready to win the title now.

Depth Chart would be
C Gasol, Zizic
PF Horford, Theis, maybe Yabusele if they allow rookie exception I think.
SF Hayward, Tatum, Semi
SG Brown
PG Isaiah, Rozier

This is a good team, but I don't know if it's good enough to win the title in the near future. It's a mix of good veterans but also very young guys. This roster is also before any mid level/bi-annual/veteran minimum exception players have signed.

He'd be a huge risk with his age and injury record but he'd fit right into our team.

It helps with scoring and rim protection but not rebounding. Gasol is not a great rebounder. I know he's injury prone but what about Bogut. Can be a defensive anchor, will be cheaper, can score but doesn't need the ball.

Olynk was never gonna be a cornerstone for our team. Tatum has a shot to be that and his overall game (offense, defense, BBIQ) shyts all over Olynk's. He's the real deal.

Tatum been impressive to me. I don't want Marc Gasol. Let me rephrase that, I like Gasol quite a bit but he's getting too old and gonna break down. I'm not buying the AD pipe dream but we need to make move for a big that is younger and healthier.

That said, Tatum has obviously looked very impressive in the two games. Don't think it's a stretch to say he could be the most offensively gifted player the C's have drafted since Pierce
