Wiz found the right gimmick and turned up the volume on it all the way up to the point that he's now a character. The laugh, the redundant topics.. this dude even made an adlib out of telling his engineer to play the shyt back for him.

I understand why he does it though. I mean he could rap about more topics, be more diverse with his flow.. but why would he when he's caking off of this style he's using now, which probably doesn't take a whole lot of creativity or energy to do

I still very much enjoy everything Wiz does because I've been down with him since the beginning of his career, but I honestly wish he was rapping like he was on Star Power, Flight School and How Fly.

Smoking, tats, opulence/his stacks, haters (aka, probably people who photoshop his sophmore cd cover on the webernets).

Then wash, rinse, repeat.


It's like listening to a broken record but with different beats.


I know he was always on that steeze, but atleast he used to rap about his city, growing pains, sometimes social commentaries, working/grinding/perseverance... now it's redundant/trite to the umph degree.
