The Pear of Anguish:scust:

The pear of anguish,' also known as choke pear or mouth pear, was a medieval instrument of torture. The machine consisted of a metal body (usually pear-shaped) divided into spoon-like segments that could be spread apart by turning a screw. The pear was variously applied to the mouth, rectum, or vagina, being inserted into the orifice and then slowly expanded to mutilate and destroy, typically causing fatal internal bleeding

Scaphism, also known as the boats, or mistakenly as cyphonism,[1] is an alleged ancient Persian method of execution. The word comes from the Greek σκάφη, skáphe, meaning "anything scooped (or hollowed) out". It entailed trapping the victim between two boats, feeding and covering them with milk and honey, and allowing them to fester and be devoured by insects and other vermin over time.

This execution was kinda similar

The execution of Peter Stumpp

The execution of Stumpp, on October 31, 1589, and of his daughter and mistress, is one of the most brutal on record: he was put to a wheel, where "flesh was torn from his body", in ten places, with red-hot pincers, followed by his arms and legs. Then his limbs were broken with the blunt side of an axehead to prevent him from returning from the grave, before he was beheaded and his body burned on a pyre.[citation needed] His daughter and mistress had already been flayed and strangled and were burned along with Stumpp's body. As a warning against similar behavior, local authorities erected a pole with the torture wheel and the figure of a wolf on it, and at the very top they placed Peter Stumpp's severed head

:gucci:

Did they kill him in such a brutal fashion they were worried about him returning from the grave so broke his limbs as a precaution.

Nah...this has to be by far the worst way to die.

you've got to be joking....

it actually sounds like one of the nicer ways to die if you ask me.....

Nitrogen Narcosis - effects mimic alcohol, light headedness, euphoria, tendency to laugh, short attention span.....

he died doing something he loved, laughing and probably not even really aware that he was dying.....

compare that to some of the other examples in this thread......
