yes... a center is needed because Mahinmi is terrible and making $16M this seasonyall need a center right? Willie was great for us and just didnt pan out in LA and elsewhere. I hate whiteside so much i rather play Bam and Reed at center.

McCain is an elite slot corner though. Signing him is a great decision.making bobby mccain the highest paid slot corner in the league...
You can't be seriousWillie Reed is fukking trash

As for now, I’m just gonna cheer for the dudes we got and hope they develop into possible stars. Might be brain dead to think they’ll ever be stars but we’re pretty much just sitting on our hands for a couple years anyway.
Everyone was during the streak, it was bullshyt. There's a reason he's a journey man and can barely secure a guaranteed contract. He's fukking trash .You can't be serious
He was great for us during that run
Eh, it honestly feels like our front office is just kinda lagging behind right now. Not in a “Everyone is better than us and we’re trash” but we it feels like we have a very old-school era to approaching free agents and building a team.
But, in hindsight, it’s kinda easy to understand why. The truth of the matter is that after Lebron left, it would have been really easy to turn everything loose and start to rebuild. But we ran and gave Bosh that contract, tried to keep it competitive and scramble a bit after getting blindsided, and then draft picks started becoming freakish valuable. Then we had the injury issues so we just kept being sold into thinking we were right there if we could just be healthy and then we’re here.
Now the name of the game is lottery talent for cheap, a star to attract other stars, and vets willing to take less because they believe in your competitive value.
We thought we could sell stars on Miami toughness, culture, and lifestyle but it’s just not enough anymore. But unless we draft and develop a superstar talent, I think our best bet is to just let it play out. If we can build out a solid supporting cast on good contracts then maybe we can try to attract 2 guys at the same time in 2020/21.

I am not trying to keep that Dolphins vs Heat argument going, just wanted to make that point.

He was great for us during that run.
He's a good value acquisition, not a star. He's a reliable 10-15 minute guy.
Riley always compares Winslow to Kawhi or Butler which so far is laughable but there's still a chance. J-Rich will develop into a Jimmy Butler. Butler is a 20-23 ppg scorer with great defense. Rich will be a good 2-way player and be a 20 ppg scorer.
Speaking of Rook 2
I think you're letting his first 2 years cloud your judgment. He emerged last year as a cover corner. Great mix of man and zone and route recognition. Bobby took a huge step this year. Howard locking up the #1 spot and Tank or Lip handling the other boundary spot, McCain will shine.i have heard everything now.....an elite SLOT corner......
@Primetime21 2020 our year Breh
Second generation Heat starWe getting RJ next year and Zaire Wade in 2020.
