People really expecting miracles out here.

Whiteside / 28 years old / 2 years 52 million dollars / PLAYER OPTION ON LAST YEAR

Dragic / 31 years old / 2 years 37 Million Dollars / PLAYER OPTION ON LAST YEAR

TJ / 25 years old / 2 years 38 million / Player option on last year

JJ / 31 years old / 2 years 29 million dollars

Dion / 25 years old / 3 years 35 million dollars / Coming back from season ending injury

Look at those ages, length of the contracts, and tell me how you'd move them and why a team would WILLINGLY trade for them and what you'd be giving up to actually move them because teams are gonna want picks or good young players to attach to them.

This why you not in anybody's front office. There will be a market for Whiteside regardless of the dollar amount on his contract, that's not even a question. Now depending on what you get in return that dictates the thought with Dragic, with 2 years left on his deal they may be content to just let him play it out. There's nothing wrong with Dion's contract and I seriously dont understand why ya'll continue to bring it up as such..he's in the same pay bracket as the Terrence Ross', John Hensons and Courtney Lees of the world. The problematic contracts are the Johnson boys

Charlotte having Kemba does not make their cap situation any easier to deal with. Those mothafukkas cant even get into the playoffs with the star that they have :mjlol:

Find me type teams that would want Whiteside, on his contract, with his injury history, and on a max deal...when he was already not highly regarded by most GMs?

He has already shown to be a DINOSAUR in today's NBA and has huge struggles defending against small ball. What team is gonna be rushing to pay him the max and what are they giving up. Find me a trade that you think think makes sense for both teams.

Because Dion was already lowly regarded by most of the GMs in the league when he was playing his ass off and lighting the league up. They thought it was a fluke and he just had a SEASON ENDING ANKLE INJURY that he tried to play through. He's had multiple injuries since being a Heat player and teams LOOK at stuff like that.

I'm excited to see what genius GM @Primetime21 comes up with to move Whiteside's max and the reasoning behind them to take it :yeshrug:

Whiteside is "tradeable", but is taking back the corpse of Deng and paying him for multiple years the wave?

We're not getting value back for these dudes
As of the moment it looks like the best plan future involves another season or two of these bad contracts, tanking for picks, and clearing cap space. They can’t afford to take on any more big deals.

I'll do you one better. When he gets traded ill quote this post

Quote the post if we get something of value back. :mjlol:

You don't get no plus points if we get a bunch of trash and have to give up actual young assets to move him.

I said that no one is taking Whiteside's max contract and not getting young talent or unloading trash players to make the salaries match

But no suggestions, Mr. GM?

We really need a consistent scorer

We need a superstar. nikkas talk culture and shyt because it's cute but this is a superstar driven league. Philly has 2 legitimate superstars and we never had an answer for them. They were able to keep the team afloat off of talent alone until the other players started hitting shots based off the attention they received.

We are a bunch of role players and journeymen, masquerading as a good team. We're exactly what our record the past two years said we were....an AVERAGE team with decent to good players.

People thought I was bandwagoning for saying we'd trade our the majority of our roster for either Simmons or Embiid but shyt was just facts. If they called amd offered Simmons for our entire starting 5, we'd jump on it in a second.

It is, if we getting a pick back.
#GetAPickOrDieTrying :blessed:

If Riley can land a Top 15 pick for his ass he truly is the GOAT.

That being said I gotta agree with everybody else....we aint getting nothing of value for these overpaid nikkas.

Honestly I don’t give a fukk if it’s a late 1st, as long as it’s a first rounder I’m cool with taking on salary that’s 1-2 years long. We so devoid of assets, we need to take any first round pick we can get for anyone on our roster not on a rookie deal.

Plus cap space don’t really matter, since we ain’t gon be signing anyone of significance until we have a star that can draw players.
