You’re talking about hooking up, I’m talking about marriage. And yes an average looking person is capable of using you, but the types of men a lot of BW choose based on looks are less likely to be loyal because most are chasing the same types of dudes lol. That saying men are as faithful as their options has some truth. If more BW want to increase their odds of securing successful wealth-building marriages, more will have to adjust the men they entertain when they still have peak access in their 20s. And no I’m not saying ugly men, everything isn’t binary.

Once women see you with an attractive woman, they want you more. Once the corny breh starts dressing nice, and getting better haircuts because his woman helped him, he’s going to get more attention from other women, thus he’ll have more options too. And quite frankly, there are lots of black men who are in a financial position to be married, but still choose not to, and it’s not because they don’t have their choice of suitable AND attractive women to choose from.

And don’t act like the less attractive man doesn’t care about looks too, because that’s what this really is about. They aren’t going for the conservative, reserved women. They want the IG models.

That is a myth we all repeat. But, majority of divorces are actually to due to

1. Incompatibility (48% +/-)
2. Infidelity (28% +/-)
3. Finances (22% +/-)

Finances rank 3rd. Although lower income couples divorce at a higher rate than well-off couples, it's still not the main reason for overall divorce. It's a leading cause, but not the leading cause.

Yes, there are Black men in a financial position to be married but you’re missing the point. A lot of those men weren't getting play in their 20s because they were in the books, didn't dress the best and/or focused on their careers. That's a "buy low" opportunity for BW. They could've chose up on those dudes before they hit their strides in their 30s, helped them level up their dress game and boosted their confidence. And I'm not talking about ugly dudes. I'm talking about Grant Hill type dudes who are square and average to slightly above average height.

And I don't know what guys you're around, but very few guys I know are legitimately seeking IG models. They want women on their level looks wise for the most part. But many (not all) BW spend their 20s chasing men above their league who they can hook up with casually and/or get into situtationships with but not stable relationships. Then when those women circle back around 35 to get with the Grant Hill type, he's leveled up and has way more options. By and large every other group of women (including immigrant BW) aggressively pursue the Grant Hill types in their mid to late 20s before they hit their stride in their 30s.

Not really. A lot of those women were unhappy, I doubt y’all men ever got the stories cuz you didn’t get the sit downs with grannies, great aunts and older cousins. But those women had no choice but to stay married since most didn’t work and couldn’t provide for themselves or a family without their man.

Nothing is stopping those men from changing their wardrobe, or appearance. Nobody deserves a medal for not putting effort into their appearance. When women can’t find a man, they are told to lose weight, dress better, learn how to properly do makeup, etc, so the same can be said for men. Looks matter. Period.

Were those guys into the books trying to get with women who were into the books, or were they expecting attractive women to approach them? And like I said, once you start dressing better, and looking better, you have access to new women. A lot of those guys aren’t going to stick with the woman who made them dress better.

Children out of wedlock around 23%

Fast forward today

25% are married but 75% have kids

But people develop feelings, and overlook certain aspects out of love. There does need to be love in a relationship, and it’s not as simple as “on to the next one” when it comes to meeting someone you share mutual attraction to, and are both ready, willing, and able to be in a relationship.
