Probably not. Even if you're a sociopath it really doesn't make sense to support the nikkas that are OK with you disappearing after a hunting trip, random traffic stop, etc.

think a lot of opposition to conservatism isn't based on the ideals/principles within it, but the power structure behind it...
conservatism at it's core is free market, small government, and upholding traditional institutions and values...
say the situation in America was flipped and black folks were now the majority and in power and cacs were only 13% of the population and at the bottom of the social hierarchy...a lot of us would be conservatives fighting against the progressive ideals of the chads and karens...
conservatism is essentially protecting the status quo so if black folks established the status quo, would we be so willing to disrupt it?
to answer your question tho, for sure there a smart black conservatives...the talking heads and political pundits aren't representative...but given how easily we're manipulated by mass media today they just may be...
too lazy to look up data, but i don't think it's a reach to say a good percentage of black business owners, doctors, engineers, lawyers, etc. lean conservative for various reasons...
of course you have your c00ns in the mix but i'd also think you have a good amount of black folks that have seen enough success in their families, in their communities, and in their peer groups to feel like the system isn't setup for them to fail...

you may be right...i'm far from a political person, so i don't know the deeper meaning/history behind conservatism....just giving my perspective based on the knowledge i have...

From your experience, what types of black people are likely to c00n?
From my experience, black c00ns come from the following groups
1. Black people who grow up in impoverished conditions. So they subconsciously associate white with success and wealth and black with struggle and poverty. So they reject blackness.
2. Black people who grow up in mostly white, especially conservative, neighborhoods. c00ning becomes a way to fit in and they internalize all the self-hate and become full-blown c00n. Also black people who are in the military or law enforcement around right-wing white people
3. Black immigrants ( This is just my observation; I'm not starting a diaspora war)- Immigrants associate success/ assimilation with whiteness so they try their best to get to proximity with white people.

But if you were born a wealthy white male, you would be a fool NOT to be a conservative. On the same vein, You're a fool as a black person to be a conservative.

You can be conservative and not be a Republican. The two can be mutually exclusive. Most black folk (especially church going ones) are socially conservative.
