About 25 years ago I was at a barber shop, and an impressionable, clean cut, 30 something black man driving a brand new candy apple red Lexus came in to get his hair cut. He was clean cut, professional; looked like Cuba Gooding Jr. Everybody at the shop was roasting him because he was a conservative/Republican but he held to his beliefs. He preached the gospel of bootstrapism. I was instantly inspired. I became a Republican during the Bush II era, I finished college with an Accounting degree. I was a registered Republican up until the Tea Party takeover/Obama Era. So I see both sides. I definitely don't fukk with Republicans anymore, I'm too woke for that. But I also see the racism embedded into the Democrat agenda. Facts is facts, America isn't built for us.
So to answer your question, of course there are smart conservatives that actually care about our progress. But at the same time, it's oxy-moronic to think choosing a wing a white supremacy could ever be beneficial to our cause. So choosing either side is foolish. I guess the Democrats are the lesser of the two evils.
