Trust, I know how much like roaches so of us can live. I have a cousin who would sit in her filth and eat cheesecake and watermelon with salt and not bathe....I know how LOW we can go. :snoop:

Im just saying, none of my Mississippi to Illinois family are that disgusting (with few exceptions). We will just get a LARGE BOWL and mix it in that. But as I said, some people like in the gutter and get used to the filth and laziness. :manny:

We dont let the LOWEST define who we are tho. #BlackFirst
I used to do it in the sink but realized that’s stupid. I get a bowl with a lid, season and shake now.

I dont have a problem washing raw chicken in the sink....When you start to SEASON IT there tho, :camby: NO!!! Even if you wash that sink, it's still stupid and disgusting.

:what:WTF is y'all putting in y'all kitchen sink that you can't put food in it? The same bowl you go put chicken in was cleaned in that same sink. How y'all think big momma cleaned greens. Who doesn't use bleach when cleaning sink and countertops after preparing meat?

The only real problem I had with was her touching the seasons bottles with raw chicken on her hands.

Nothing about that woman's home showed anything that could even remotely be considered filth. Show some respect she has passed on.

While we on the subject. Recommend a brotha some coatings for that crispy skin
You can dip the chicken in egg, then the flour, breading, then egg again, then flour/bread again.

For flavor under the chicken skin,

-Lift the skin and season up under there
-Inject the chicken..i've injected chicken with melted butter, and some cajun seasoning:noah:
-Marinate/brine

But injecting is your best bet @ba'al

I can count on my hands how many times I've put raw meat into the sink. I can wash and rinse a whole bird without touching the sink. Your still gotta clean the sink out after that process. Also I don't use raw countertops. Cutting boards, foil, baking sheets. To each is own though.

The fact u can count on your hand how many times you done it mean you have done it more than once and everything turn out fine. But like you to each their own do you.

That’s exactly why I would never season in my sink. It has been cleaned with chemicals that I don’t want on my food, the crevices around the drain harbor bacteria, and as I’m working with meat, I wash my hands (and utensils) a lot, you can’t do that if your chicken is sitting in the sink.

That’s dumb a fukk anyway, if you don’t have a big bowl/container (which every kitchen should have a mixing bowl), use a freezer or garbage bag, at minimum, why not season it in the pan you’re going to cook it in or the pan you’ll use to take the chicken to where it will be cooked? Or season it on a plate

Seasoning in the sink :scust:

Make a simple brine. Mix a half cup of salt and quarter cup of sugar into half a gallon of water. Stir until it's all dissolved. Depending on what cut of chicken you use will determine how long to let the meat brine. So like if you're doing thighs and legs then you should brine for maximum of four hours.

Make sure to wash the brine off of the chicken before cooking.

Best part about brining is that it's harder to overcook the chicken and have it be dry.
